Pro tips for Arlo setup & sync in 10 minutes!!
Arlo camera is hassle-free as works wire-free, gets a power supply from batteries. Have various features as Arlo wire-free camera detects movement and starts live video streaming on your Arlo account in the cloud by the use of WiFi linked to the Arlo base station.
Firstly you need to set up your Arlo base station, then get the Arlo app on your electronic devices and set up an Arlo account. The Arlo account helps to connect between Arlo System and the electronic device that can be a mobile phone, tablet, or computer to allow you to view video recording and live stream.
If you are using your mobile electronic device then use the Arlo app for the supreme viewing experience. In the case of computer navigate arlo.netgear.com.
To set up your camera:
Firstly, insert batteries and make sure to pay close attention to the battery polarity.
Launch the Arlo app on your device.
Now, create your Arlo account for secure access to your cameras.
Click on New System Setup.
Select Arlo base station.
Waite for the app to automatically discover your Arlo base station.
Follow the on-screen instruction by filling in details to complete your Arlo account Setup.
Be sure to connect one camera at a time and repeat the instructions for each camera.
To synchronize your Arlo wire-free to Arlo base station or Arlo Pro base station:
Long press (about two seconds) the sync button present on the edge of the Arlo base station, release the sync button.
Note: The distance between the Arlo base station and Arlo wire-free camera should be between 30 cm to 100 cm .i.e. one to three feet for Arlo setup.
Waite till the Arlo base station sync status LED lights green.
Long press (about two seconds) the sync button present on the top of the camera, release the sync button.
Waite till the Arlo camera LED rapidly blinks in blue color, which confirms the successful sync of Arlo wire-free camera to Arlo base station.
Repeat the instructions for each camera separately.
You may notice that the Power LED on the Arlo base station starts blinking, this is because the Arlo wire-free camera’s Firmware starts updating.
If you are unable to sync your Arlo wire-free camera to your Arlo base station within 60 seconds, then press the sync button again on the Arlo base station and repeat the instruction.
Warning: Do not remove the camera battery from the Arlo wire-free camera, this act may damage your camera and make it unusable. Use batteries that contain a built-in fault and heat protection system.
Arlo wire-free cameras are weatherproof and best for outdoor use but make sure to protect the batteries or the battery compartment from getting wet before or at the time of installation.
Always follow the local instructions to dispose of used batteries. Use genius and superior quality batteries in your Arlo wire-free camera.
