Update steps for SmartHub or Base Station firmware manually:

  • Start the Arlo app or log in to my.arlo.com.

  • Tap or click Settings > my Device.

  • Select Arlo base station or SmartHub that need update.

  • Tap or click Device Info > Firmware > Update.

  • Wait for the system to update completely. when the base station power LED blinks green that indicates firmware downloading and installing. As the base station firmware is installed, the LED will blink orange and reboots. Firmware update is complete when both the Power and Internet LEDs show green light.

WARNING: Always remember to never disconnect your camera as well as your SmartHub while update in progress and do notopen the battery lid and remove the batteries form the camera during Arlo update firmware, this may lead to damaging of the camera and camera might become unusable.
