My name is Aryeda Tyagi . I am a Middle School Math’s Educator at Aravali International School, Faridabad. I got enthusiastic when I got to know that I am a part of Cyber Fair Project for the first time in school . In this project students are working independently. Different team members contribute different perspectives, and the synergy between team members can produce creative and productive results. I love to help draw out the unique skill sets on this cyberfair project.In this project I have learned how to relate ideas and connect across fields to everyday life.I have learned various domain like cognitive ,social,physical and emotional too.

The visit to Gurukul Indraprastha was an amazing experience for me as a teacher It reminds me my childhood memories with my grandparents.The application of the cyberfair project is to work on a value-based system where focus can be given on the uniqueness of child so that they can excel in their area of interest. This will also build a good character which is far away from fierce competition. I have seen how to work with parents to shape supportive experience for our school and community. In this project students explore all about Sanskrit language, religion, culture. Children are enthusiastically working on this website and explored all about Sanskrit language .I remember those days when I used to learn mantra’s and veda’s in Sanskrit with my grandparent. It was a wonderful experience to be shared as a mentor .

Being a teacher has always been a gratifying experience. To be able to shape young minds, push them to think and nudge them along the direction that will enable them to find their paths has been fulfilling, to say the very least. The great blessing in my profession, however, is to learn and grow along with the children we coach. One such opportunity presented itself recently when our school held the cyberfair for students. In the process of guiding the students with their project work of discovering their heritage, I understood the value of teamwork, working with the community —students and teachers, and the exposure gained from interacting with people from various walks and backgrounds. While I helped the students with their research, I also learnt a lot about our glorified past and great heritage. The challenge of coordinating with kids using only medium, helping them collaborate in a virtual space also helped me discover the many facets digital medium. Teaching perhaps is the only profession where we imbibe as much knowledge as we impart. The visit to Gurukul Indraprastha was an enriching experience for me as a teacher, as a student and as a person.

My name is Nishtha Gulati. I am a Middle School Science Educator (particularly Chemistry) at Aravali International School, Faridabad. I got invigorated when I got to know that I am a part of Cyber Fair Project for the second time. It aroused my curiosity to a next level when I was briefed about the topic and its detailed planning. To ensure that the project and its objective goes smoothly, I made my goals right from the beginning and created a plan as to how it will go about. I selected students and made a heterogeneous group so that there is immense learning at every step. They were too excited for the project as it was research – based and adding to it, collaborative – approach was involved which made them more exuberant especially when it was Sanskrit language related to Science. I explained them every minute details of this year’s theme; including objective, scope, resources, new technology and the most important i.e. key challenges that they need to overcome. They started with their exploration and got into the roots of our sacred Sanskrit language & how it is integrated with other areas. Each and every child was clear about his/ her role and responsibility while dealing with this project. The children diversified themselves and came out with exceptional ideas to make this website a hit. It also made them aware of the vitality of Sanskrit to Indian culture because of its extensive use in Indian literature, primarily in Hinduism and because most modern Indian languages have been directly derived from or strongly influenced by Sanskrit. While enhancing their knowledge and uplifting their research skills, the children also worked on their digital part which strengthened their approach towards the modern use of technology. Overall it was a great platform to showcase our skills apart from Academics both for students as well as Educators.

Myself Ms. Geetika Makker Maths Educator of Middle School working in Aravali International School got an opportunity to be a part of this venture. It is very well said that individuals learn both through formal education and through experience. Learners do not just receive information only at the time it is given, they absorb information in different ways. The experience of participating in an international project paved a way of completely learning in a new way as compared to the textual learning. The most exciting aspect of this project was giving opportunity to students to make a significant contribution to the community and developing skills thereby. Personally, had a unique and unparalleled experience providing a solid experiential and personal connection to people and places. We all worked as a team towards achieving a goal of completion of tasks. Content, independent research work were the mainstay of our project where all gathered information/data through face-to-face interactions with the community members, working autonomously and integrating it into a final assignment. The process of working on such a program- what students went through and how they handled the task has been a very inspirational plan. It was an awesome exposure which really broadens your perspective on the culture around you. Such projects should keep running as long as possible because everyone needs to have such know-how and share with others.

I selected students and made a heterogeneous group so that there is immense learning at every step. About technical We have used Google sites for our website development. With the new Google Sites, building websites is easy especially for this age group. Major reason - It Effortlessly creates impactful team sites. Helps in Collaborating, creating, engaging, high-quality sites for the project. Kids have covered almost all the aspects of the google sites including video, layout, themes, placeholder, embedded feature. Kids have included the features of CSS and JavaScript as well in the google sites. Using an Embed Code is a great way to display web projects or videos directly on your Google Site page. Kids have especially taken care of bibliography and copyright keeping in mind the ethics of using Internet.

My name is Priya Bhardwaj. I am a Middle School English language educator at Aravali International School, Faridabad. My first acquaintance with this project-based learning was when I was called for being briefed. I got thrilled on getting to know about this learning program.

I felt privileged to be involved into this project and put forward my insights on the topic. I went through the implementation guide to comprehend the process of its execution. Henceforth, I made my team by involving students, the young learners to explore, gain understanding about our town and expand their horizon of knowledge while also paying efforts in making it a successful project.

The young learners were exhilarated on knowing about this project. It provided them an opportunity to dig deep into the history behind the origin of Sanskrit language, their ancestral backdrop which formed the foundation of their current scenario in regard to Sanskrit’s usage. Surveying from varied sources, interviewing ‘Gurukul’, various intellectuals who have kept Sanskrit alive in their spoken context served as an evidence to their active involvement throughout the project. This project served as a basis of understanding how the language of conversation changed from the ancient era to current modern period.

There is no denying fact that the generation today is surrounded with technology and this digital era is enhancing their skills while also catering to their mind’s growth. This project aided them in fomenting their brains which due to the unprecedented year remained unexplored. I also got a chance to work as a team and gain knowledge regarding the unknown facts shared by my team members. I talked to people belonging to our community who have observed Sanskrit slipping away from the life of people and collected some amazing and thought-provoking facts.

In the course of the research work, students’ as well as my skills came to light while touching the base of our past. This experience made students gain the best of both worlds.
