Sanskrit is the foremost sacred language of Hinduism and has been used as a philosophical language in the religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. It is also closely tied with Indian culture, many forms of art, dance is also used as a medium for the expression of culture, and Sanskrit is closely tied with these.
Sanskrit is integral to Indian culture due to its substantial use in religious and cultural literature and rituals, This is due to Sanskrit being the mother language of the majority of Indian languages as they find their roots knotted with Sanskrit.
With time it has became a part of every household, temple, gurukuls, gurus, researchers, etc, and began to be spoken and written widely.
More than 3,000 Sanskrit works have been composed since India achieved its freedom after the colonist struggle, while more than 90 weekly, biweekly, and quarterly publications are published in Sanskrit. Did you know, Sudharma, a daily newspaper written in Sanskrit, has been published since 1970. It is also used in various other forms of cultural expressions like dance, music, art.

Sanskrit is also a contributor to the academic linguistic field of Indo-European studies, which focuses on the widespread and forgotten languages of Indo Aryan group, studied in universities around the globe. The word Sanskrit is interpreted as complete, and pure. It was first seen in Vedic form and then in its modern form, but both have close links to culture. For Hindus Buddhists and Jains, Sanskrit is phenomenally important along with people of other cultures due to its link to various other other aspects , while the language is not widely spoken in India today, Many initiatives are taken to revive its cultural link just like this project.
Indian culture is like the Ganges getting contributions from various channels. India and culture mutually share interest and are closely linked at the base. Language molds culture, Religion, secular and social sciences, philosophies, ideologies, etc., constitute culture. Literature and texts add soul to the culture. And insights to scholars, institutions of culture are given through language. That is why language constitutes an important part of the culture, defining the link Sanskrit has with Indian culture.
Be it the philosophies or the art forms, Sanskrit truly bought about a change in Indian culture
