Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, we know this day matters. This is your baby’s one and only birth day, and it should be remembered not with stress or uncertainty, but with peace, pride, and love. We’re here to help you feel strong, seen, and fully supported—so you can look back on your birth story with joy, no matter how the details unfold.
Jenny is a devoted Christian, wife of 30 years, mama of 8, and loving grandma to 5. She and her family have resided in our beautiful Upstate for 17 years. With a lifelong passion for birth and babies since her teens, she certified as a birth doula in 2017. Drawing from her diverse personal experiences - including 2 birth center births, 5 homebirths (3 water births), and 1 hospital birth with epidural - Jenny compassionately supports families to assist them In achieving joyous, and intentionally beautiful birth experiences. In addition to her labor, delivery and postpartum support, she offers comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to empower expectant parents to confidently navigate their birth journey.

I hold a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Christian Theology and Psychology. I’m married to James, an archaeologist with a love for digging up the past while I support new beginnings. After a whirlwind year of several moves and unexpected life detours, I’m finally finding my rhythm again. Benedict is night-weaning (hallelujah!), and I’m ready to re-enter the birth space with renewed passion and presence.

I’ve pushed myself to further my education regarding the pregnancy and postpartum periods and applied my new knowledge to my own journey. I have had my own epidural birth and natural birth, and worked with gestational diabetes! I hope I can help YOU confidently reach your pregnancy and postpartum goals!

During your consult we'll discuss your support needs.(ie: Labor & Birth Support, Day Postpartum Support, Overnight Newborn Care, Classes, Lactation Support and the length of support desired.)
After your consult & you've decided we're the right fit for your family, Get in touch to verify availability & complete the Client Contract.
If you're a Carrot Fertility member, check your employer benefits to see how you can receive postpartum care through us—with your support covered by Carrot!
Once you've signed the Client Contract and paid the 50% retainer, your spot is reserved on our calendar! The balance is due at 37 weeks or before support begins.
We'll be in touch throughout your pregnancy, but can't wait to hear from you when you go into labor!
Once baby arrives, we'll schedule your first postpartum support shift!
*Support dates are reserved on a first come basis. Your spot on my calendar is reserved once you have completed the contract and your 50% retainer is received.

"As an approved provider through Carrot Fertility, I have met the necessary qualifications to offer reimbursable postpartum support. Members can use their Carrot funds to pay for eligible doula services. To ensure members receive high-quality support that promotes healthy birth outcomes, doulas must meet specific criteria—such as obtaining accreditation from an approved organization, participating in an extensive training curriculum, and demonstrating adequate experience.
