I was pretty nervous and so was my husband. April gave up her day and drove an hour to come to the hospital. She prayed with me and stayed through the whole surgery until I was out of recovery and she knew I was alright. It was truly a blessing to us both. Her door was always open to provide friendship, support, or comfort. During the death of my parents and Mother in law she and her husband were a rock to our family and when we celebrated the weddings of both of our children and the births of our grandchildren they were there with us and many others in our area. Not only did April have a heart for us and our children, but she will have a heart for you and your families too. Can't forget that she actually helped to bring two of her grandchildren into the world and if you asked all three, I am pretty sure that they would think that they have the best Grandma ever. Please keep April in mind if you need Doula services. You and your family won't be disappointed.

My husband and I just had our little boy in January. We are first time parents and like most people with their first, it was overwhelming in the beginning. We were recommended April to help us for one night just to be able to get a good nights rest. Her presence was immediately warm. She brought us vegetable soup and oatmeal which felt so comforting. She made us feel confident that things will be taken care of and all we had to focus on was rest. I especially loved, with permission, she captured some sweet moments with our little one and sent them to me the next day. Honestly, the whole experience felt as though we were just with an old friend. I couldn't recommend April enough!

April McMasters is the definition of a diligent and nurturing person. She understands anyone's hardship and never belittles them because of their obstacles in life. Even in the darkest of times when you need to hear it, she gives out the advice you need in those gloomy moments. Her presence in the room and the support she gives is the most comforting thing in the world and would benefit well whenever you need a supporting doula. If you're looking for a mother's touch, she would be the person for you. She touched my heart when I didn't have that supporting mother figure in the darkest time of my life. She's knowledgeable in birthing experiences and could offer any person needing information regarding the topic of labor and beyond that. She can be whatever you need her to be at the end of the day, whether she could be that friend you need or a mother figure, she'll be there.
