The unit test will cover material that will be included in chapters 6, 7, and 8 of our online textbook.

Your Task:

Design your own educational program that fosters intellectual growth and behaviors that help children navigate the world successfully.

You must incorporate the following unit concepts in your description:

  • Early philosophical ideas (Aristotle, John Locke, David Hume, etc.)

  • Conditioning (classical and operant)

  • Social Learning Theory

  • Cognition and cognitive skills

  • Memory

  • Biological factors (must include long-term potentiation)

  • Intelligence

You must also include references to the following videos located below:

  • "New Studies Underscore the Value of the Arts"

  • Alfie Kohn - "Why Grades Shouldn't Exist" (first video we watched)

You must also incorporate
