Your Anugraha Charitable Trust has completed 25 Years of Social service. Satyanarayana Pooja and a meeting was held on 05-03-2023, to mark the occasion. Hon'ble Justice N Nagaresh, Chief guest, inaugurated the meeting with lighting the lamp. Trustees also joined him. Founders of the Trust and those who served it in its journey of 25 years were remembered and honoured. The Trust rededicated itself to the service to the Society in its journey forward. Everyday, we come across people who were holding high positions, very successful businessmen, but now in their old age are left alone to mend for themselves. It is same for those who have money and those who have no money. A time comes when money loses its value, and people yearn only for love and care. We are here to try and give it to them.
For those who are lonely because their kids/relatives are busy shaping their own lives, but have financials to lead their life comfortably, we run Senior Citizens' Home at Katcheripady, Ernakulam.

Dayanand V Kamath, a great philanthropist on advise of S Prabhakar Prabhu, FCA approached the Trust to establish and run a Senior Citizens' Home in memory of his beloved wife late Dr. Narmada Dayanand Kamath.

Dr. Narmada & Dayanand Kamath Satram, Prabhakar Jyothi (NDKS)
Prabhakar Jyothi named after Late S Prabhakar Prabhu is a dedicated Home for destitute men. It also has accommodation facilities for pilgrims and others.
With the blessings of H H Sreemad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji, His Pattasishya, H H Sreemad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji bleaased and inaugurated the project on 22nd May 2011 in the presence of large gathering.
Dayanand Apartments, a 38 flat free housing complex in Pandikudi, Kochi is providing shelter to those needy families who do not own any land or building of their own.
This huge complex was destined to be doubly blessed by our revered Guruji, H H Sreemad Sudheendra Tirtha Swamiji, Mathadipathi of Sree Kashi Math
Ranga Bhat, Vinayak Pandit and Appu Bhat Memorial at Cherlai, Kochi - 2
This project was initiated by Anugraha Charitable Trust in memory of our forefathers Ranga Bhat, Vinayak Pandit and Appu Bhat. This can really be considered as the greatest contribution of Konkanis to mankind.
Our Schemes
Scholarships
This Scholarship is given to Konkani Speaking students belonging to Kerala who have passed Class X examination in the previous year with a minimum of 80% marks in each Subject and annual family income of parents is less than Rs Three Lakhs. Application can be submitted after obtaining
Annual Grant
Members of GSB Community residing in Kerala, aged 70 years and above. In the case of differently abled applicants there is no age limit. Annual income of the applicant not more than Rs 36000/ and family
Samaaswas Pension
Samaaswas Monthly Pension of Rs.500/- to aged and low income community members instituted since 2010
Members of GSB Community residing in Kerala, aged 70 years and above. In the case of differently abled applicants there is no age limit. Recipient of Grant are not eligible.
Annual income of the applicant not more than Rs 36000/ and family income not more than Rs 1,50,000/-
Annadanam
In order to ensure at least one square meal a day to poor members of our community in Mattancherry,
Annadanam (mid-day meal) program is run from Prabhakar Jyothi sponsored by Dr. Narmada Dayanand Kamath endowment fund.
Daily 25 families are provided with mid day meal at present from Prabhakar Jyothi at Mattancherry.
Ranga Bhat & Geetha Bhat Award for excellence in Class X and XII
Sri. Ranga Bhat S/O Krishna Bhat & Deveki Bhat assiduously followed his father's example in the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. He was initiator of Anugraha Charitable Trust and Ashray Charitable Society. Sri. Ranga Bhat and wife Smt. Geetha Bhat together did yeoman service to the society through their humanitarian work of providing help to needy and distressed, solace to terminally ill, clothes to the aged, educational kits to the students, basketful of groceries to hundreds annually,
S.Prabhakara Prabhu Excellence Award for Chartered Accountants
S.Prabhakar Prabhu was a doyen in his professional and social career. An outstanding personality and founder partner of M/s Varma & Varma Chartered Accountants, he guided many students to follow the highest ethical principles as qualified Auditors.
He was a patron of Anugraha Charitable Trust, President of Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission, Sukrtindra Oriental Research Institute, Sree Kulavedatha Mandir Complex, Executor of Dr Narmada – Dayanand
Dr.Latha Anantha Memorial Award for environment protection
A PhD in Agriculture, Dr.Latha devoted her life for protection of Nature and environment. She advocated that rivers are the blood vessels of nature and they must be kept flowing unhindered to preserve nature, its inhabitants, flora, and fauna. She was instrumental in convincing central government against Athirappally Dam Project. In the forefront of Chalakkudy River Protection Forum. she educated Kader community on their rights to the forest. She was honoured with Bhageerath Prayas
About us
Anugraha Charitable Trust was founded in 1997 to help in alleviating the sufferings of the needy and to work towards the development of the society by facilitating good health (Arogyasahaya Nidhi), education (Vidyasahaya Nidhi), providing food (Annadanam) and shelter (Homes).
The activities of the Trust started in a small way by organizing career development programmes, medical camps, free distribution of study-kits to students, dress and food items to the needy, mainly supported by Devaki-Krishna Bhat Endowment Scheme. The charitable activities of the Trust took a giant leap in 2011 when late Sri Dayanand V Kamath on the advice of late C.A S Prabhakara Prabhu chose the Trust as a nodal agency to implement schemes sponsored through Dr Narmada Dayanand Kamath Endowment Fund.
