Dr. Narmada Dayanand Kamath Senior Citizen's Home (NDSCH)

Dayanand V Kamath, a great philanthropist on advise of S Prabhakar Prabhu, FCA approached the Trust to establish and run a Senior Citizens' Home in memory of his beloved wife late Dr. Narmada Dayanand Kamath.

The present establishment, a two storied building on 15 cents of land in the heart of Kochi City was purchased in the month of January 2003 and was inaugurated on 12th September 2003. The project was fully funded and sponsored by Dayanand V Kamath. 

The first of its kind among GSB community in Kerala, the project was blessed by H H Sreemad Sudheendra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadipathy of Sree Kashi Math Samsthan. 

In His blessing message, Swamiji wrote

"Charity is a virtue - to be achieved only by the grace of Sriman Narayan. An ashram for senior citizen which is a need of the hour, is a worthy charity"

NDSCH is established with the object of providing a homely, safe, serene, hygienic and healthy living environment to the Senior Citizens.

In the inaugural ceremony held on 12-09-2003, Dayanand V Kamath dedicated this project to the society. His brother Sadanand V Kamath inaugurated the session. Prof. R K Rao, freedom fighter and writer was the Chief guest.

S Prabhakar Prabhu, FCA, our Chief Patron and President of Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission, T M V Shenoy, President, Dr. Padiar Memorial Homoeo Medical College, Shyamala S Prabhu, Councilor, Corporation of Kochi, Gopinatha Prabhu, President, Old Thirumala Devaswom, Allapuzha spoke during the function.

R Bhaskar Shenoi, President welcomed the gathering and briefed on the activities of the Trust.             R Gopinatha Naick, Secretary proposed vote of thanks.

Our Registered and Administrative offices are now located in this project.
