TAIGA BEAN GOOSE Anser fabalis AE*.
Winter visitor; very rare in Wales. Closest breeding population is in Scandinavia. Most winter in southern Sweden and to a lesser extent in northern Germany and Poland, with small numbers in Denmark, Falkirk in Scotland and Norfolk in England.
