a). 1987, 22nd August: The Range - 1. (Gwynedd bird report 1987- pages unnumbered), (Birds of Anglesey 2004 p483). Note: Ken Croft advises that on the 22nd August 1987 he found 2 Melodious Warblers the first at South Stack (accepted) near the concrete road above the lighthouse steps on my morning round. In the afternoon he found another in the willows at the top end of Porth Ruffydd on The Range and remember standing there in the rain for nearly 3 hours waiting for the bird to make an occasional appearance.
