Vagrant from southern Europe. Species went ex BBRC in 2013, with records assessed by the WBRC from the 1st January 2013 and up until the 31st December 2022 at which point it was removed from the list of WBRC due to increased frequency of records.

30 - 32). 2022, 4th January: Traeth Dulas - 3 circled, before heading off south-east. Presumably, the same birds – 2 adults and a juvenile - were then relocated on wet fields north of Llyn Maelog on the 14th where they stayed until 17th, with the juvenile being seen between the 22nd-26th (S&RBiW2022 p107).
