Why?
I chose to focus on sodium-ion batteries because they offer a fresh perspective compared to the repetitive nature of AI-related topics. This technology is interesting because it does not just rely on high-tech advancements; instead, it uses natural resources to reduce environmental pollution and provide a more sustainable energy solution.
Interesting Fact
Sodium-ion batteries use is made from the sixth most abundant element in the Earth's crust, instead of lithium to store energy.

Lesson Learned
Through researching sodium-ion batteries, I have discovered a sustainable alternative to lithium-ion technology that reduces environmental pollution and ends the reliance on expensive, rare materials. With their high performance in extreme weather and superior safety compared to Lithium-ion batteries, they do currently face challenges with energy density and greenhouse gas releases.
