Unit 2 was trying to have a better understanding of these applications and what their capable of doing with navigating through different SIM paths that shows tips and tricks to do a task faster and simpler with on click.
In class we went over an open-source diagramming website called Draw.io, Our Professor went over the steps to create a success map with our goals and leading task to achieve it. Once we created it, we had to add it to our one drive to access it and send it to our professor.
The problem we ran through was not being able to access it on our one drive because the computer does not know where to open it on. To fix this problem, our professor explained why it is important to have everything connected to combat issues like this. When we have our own drive connected to the actual draw.io website, we can open it from there to access the working version and being able to send the link to our teacher.
The issue of not being able to open it, this would pop up.
Create a new blank page in draw.io and hover over file and click "OneDrive"
From there, find the folder in your One Drive that has you My Map and click that folder to direct you inside of it.
The selected folder, click the file that is connected to the draw.io website so it would automatically open.
While navigating through the complex steps to open my non-working file and access it, I learned not to completely rely on my computer suggestions they present but to work around it and take control on how to work it. I never knew I could turn off a file that is difficult to open and edit in the original format, which helped tremendously with other files that present that same difficulty.
