Artifact description: This is a newsletter that I created a few semesters back when learning about younger students. I created this newsletter through Canvas to connect with parents and let them know what was happening in class. I will continue using this template and modify it for other grades.

Standard connection: This document connects to the Illinois teaching standard 9, professionalism because it demonstrates a well written document that will be send out to parents for them to be aware of what students will be learning.

Reflection: I really enjoyed making this newsletter because it made me be create and think of what I wanted to say to parents. I took time to write and prof read what I wrote before “sending it”. This show professionalism as an educator but also collaboration with parents.
