Artifact description: This is a bellringer created by me, this is just an example of the many bellringers created to differentiate instruction. Bellringers helped practice things we learned in the prior day to see if students were following and understanding.
Standard connection: Bellringers are a good way to differentiate instruction by allowing students to practice the skills they have already learned, and it helps teachers to see if students are understanding or do, they need more help.
Reflection: I learned how to differentiate for students by creating materials such as bellringers that are easy for students to understand and enhance their learning.
Artifact description: This is a picture taken of the Algebra unit notes used in our classroom. This was created by my cooperating teacher since she is the only LDI math teacher. This packet was used as guided note taking for students to learn and understand the vocabulary and steps
needed to perform the operations and problems.
Standard connection: The guided notes demonstrates my ability to differentiate instruction to meet the need of my students by using different strategies like guiding them and showing and modeling step by step, so that they can better understand.
Reflection: That guided practice really help students understand the concept such as vocabular needed to understand the material before getting into problem solving. Doing the guided notes helped me model the material, while students followed along. The got the opportunity to work on guided practice and independent practice this guided notes/packets made me reflect on the importance of differentiate instruction to meet the needs of my students
