Rappel on 2025!

In the second edition of the Alpinehearts Festival, 150 fabulous climbers from all walks of life gathered at in stunning Göscheneralp to cultivate movement and community. For us on the organising team, it was (and continues to be) our intention to create an atmosphere of growth, acceptance and empowerment with the festival. Seeing women & queer friends from all over the world, celebrating and supporting each other in our shared love of the alpine keeps our hearts abundantly full.

We have so many wonderful people to thank for making these three days - filled with climbing, workshops, warm meals, and nourishing company - a success.

We are incredibly grateful to the residents of Göscheneralp, Gemeinde Göschenen, and Kanton Uri for supporting the festival, with a special shout-out to our dear locals: Kari (the farmer and landowner where we camped), Seraina (a key supporter and owner of the Gasthaus we cooked in), the Gasthaus staff—especially Giacomo, Maya, and Carol, and Christian and his family (who run Geissenparadis, where we sourced our local breakfast products from).

We also want to extend our warm-hearted appreciation to the volunteers and festival crew who helped make this festival possible—running the kitchen, serving at the bar, cleaning, and taking care of countless other tasks for over 170 people. You truly made it happen!

To all the workshop instructors, talk presenters, and performance crew, thank you for bringing so much expertise, talent, and energy to the festival. We are so grateful to: Alba Omega (live music), Alma Esteban, Anna-Lea Wyss, Dan Loutrel, Damaris Hardmeier, Maja Bozic, Eliza Sprecher, Sofie Paulus, Michelle Voss, Flavia Balzer, Vilja Jantti, Jaro, Bo, Lieselotte (fire performance), Thibault Lampe (film), Sofie Paulus & Lulu Deubzer (talk), and Mathilde Gal (talk). Special thanks as well to Mascha & Vera for leading yoga sessions, and to Vee for the beautiful morning bird walk. We would also like to highlight the great work done by our main photographers, Lieselotte and Thibaut, along with Mathias, Malin, Aleksandra, and Vladi, who all helped capture special memories of our event.

The festival would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and collaborators, especially Patagonia and the Deutsche Alpen Verein Sektion GOC. We also extend a big thank you to Tenaya, Lyofoods, Varap Fantastic, Bakery Bakery and Send-it Recycling for sponsoring our event. And, to our collaborators: Kanton Uri, Protect Our Winters Switzerland, and the Albrecht von Dewitz Stiftung, and raffle sponsors: Marmot, Crux Forged, Ecopoint, Skalo, Bluewater Capital and Lattice Training. Finally, a big shoutout to Max for generously allowing us to use his Mountainova ticketing system. We are truly grateful!

Last but not least, a heartfelt thank you to those of you who attended. The festival would not be possible without your sparkling energy! Alpinehearts is a grassroots effort built from the community energy you bring. We hope you enjoyed this year’s edition and can’t wait to see you in 2026!

Belay on!

With lots and lots of love,

The Alpinehearts team
