The festival grounds are in central Switzerland, in the Kanton of Uri. It is quite easy to get to by public transport from Switzerland, but also possible from the Italian side. It is just 1 h 45 by train from Zurich (two hours driving), and about 3h by train from Milan, Italy (two hours driving). The town of Göschenen is at the mouth of the Gotthard Pass tunnel, and about a 20-minute drive from the Festival grounds.
On the Festival Whatsapp Community, we have a dedicated group to help organise car sharing and shared travel by public transport/bike (a new handy term for this is "ecopointing" - like the redpoint but arriving by sustainable means).
Public Transport to Göschenen
Swiss public transport is very efficient. It might be useful to download the official public transport app: SBB Mobile.
From the Swiss side, the quickest train is 1h45 direct from Zürich, which you can book through the SBB app or website.
From the Italian side, a train is available from Milan, which takes 3 hours, and can be booked through Trenitalia. You will probably connect through Switzerland.
Taxi options (wheelchair accessible):
There are local taxi options through the local app Mybuxi. My buxi.ch
geissenparadies.ch
We will organise a little shuttle service for the main arrival & departure times from the town of Göschenen, as well as the main times people need transport between crags.
Public Transport in Göscheneralp:
From the train station Göschenen, the Postauto bus regularly travels up and down the valley. The Postauto bus runs from mid-June until mid-September. See the Bus timetable (PDF)

Car: Drive past Bus-stop Göschenen for 500m (past Campsite Mattli) to a gate. Through the gate along a dirt road for 200m. Follow the parking signs to park beside the farmhouse at the end of the road.
Arriving to the Gasthaus
Bus: From Bus-stop Gwüest, walk 150m uphill to the Gasthaus.
Car: Drive to Bus-stop Gwüest, then take a sharp turn right uphill to the Gasthaus parking lot.
Note: For people who booked a bed in the Gasthaus, your room will be in the house with GREEN WINDOWS next to the parking lot. Your name will be on the door of your room. The house with red windows is the restaurant.
