Getting there

Goescheneralp is in central Switzerland, in the Canton of Uri. It is quite easy to get to by public transport from Switzerland, but also possible from the Italian side. It is just 1 h 45 by train from Zurich (two hours driving), and about 3h by train from Milan, Italy (two hours driving). The town of Goeschenen is at the mouth of the Gotthard Pass tunnel, and about 20 minutes drive from the Festival grounds. We will organise a little shuttle service for the main arrival & departure times from the town of Goeschenen as well as the main times people need transport between crags.

On the Festival Whatsapp Community we have a dedicated group to help organise car sharing and shared travel by public transport / bike (a new handy term for this called "ecopointing" - like the redpoint but arriving by sustainable means :) ).

See the map at the bottom of the page for a view.
