Hello, I’m Momoka, a senior student at AIU. FA21 Creative Writing students were confused by my writings. It wasn’t my intention; maybe my world is a bit… special. Faith of the “evil genius”. That is how Joel called me.
What happened always:
Joel: “Write a poem!”
Everyone: “Beautiful, nice poems” “Poems having serious messages”
Me: “I wanted to see Llama, so I went to the zoo.” “Ramen was expired, but I ate it. I was OK. I’m interested in computer science. Kabaokun is stupid.”
Joel: “Write a story!”
Everyone: “Beautiful, nice stories” “Stories having serious messages”
Me: “Non-religious Japanese pray for ‘god’ when they have a stomachache.” “Insane, intricate puzzles”
Joel named my writings “intricate puzzles”. I’m quite satisfied with that name. Almost all lines and expressions have meanings.
Please enjoy “insane, intricate puzzles created by the evil genius”.
By the way, I strongly recommend reading with your computer. Lines, expressions, and also the format are important.

What you will see is not what I saw.
ICD #E66.0 Omura Isuke
Omura Isuke is in the hospital.
He has to cure illnesses caused by his extremely unbalanced diet.
Omura Isuke has a very strong will to do so.
Omura Isuke’s uniform is a blue subdued hospital gown. The hospital gown is too plain, so he looks lame. However, Omura Isuke doesn’t care because the gown makes him look slimmer. Also, his everyday clothes are worse than the gown.
That is why Omura Isuke is less worried about his hospital life.
Omura Isuke realized that it is time for his first meal in this hospital. He often eats junk food, so it’s been a while since he ate healthy foods.
Omura Isuke noticed the door open. There was a nurse who Omura Isuke has never met at the nurse station. Omura Isuke realized that she wasn’t at the nurse station when he went there, so he introduced himself. The nurse said it will be fine as long as he is alive, but Omura Isuke is here to cure the disease. It was obvious for Omura Isuke.
The nurse opened a black food container and started to mix without hesitation. There was an omelet with rice. It smelled nice, so he got attracted by the familiar smell. Omura Isuke shouldn’t be familiar with that smell. What Omura Isuke should do now is to change his diet.
The nurse grabbed the omelet with rice and pushed it against Omura Isuke’s mouth. Omura Isuke wanted to complain, but the nurse remained pushing for a while. So, Omura Isuke decided to give up.
What he had been seeing confused him and made him worried.
Knock, knock.
The doctor opened the door and sighed.
He stared at the new patient, Omura Isuke.
The doctor opened his mouth,
“What did you see?”
Omura Isuke doesn’t know the answer.
Omura Isuke is a patient.
He is a victim of what he was seeing.
ICD #F20.0 Saiko Hasumi
- Saiko Hasumi is a carpenter.
She is in charge of building houses, especially concrete placement.
- Saiko Hasumi has a very strong confidence in her work.
- Saiko Hasumi’s uniform is white clothes and a white helmet. The helmet is too small, so most of her head isn’t protected. However, Saiko Hasumi doesn’t care because she never falls down. Also, her white clothes never get dirty with concrete.
- That is why Saiko Hasumi is never worried about her work.
- Saiko Hasumi realized that it is time for work. She often goes to construction sites and helps by putting additional concrete on the wall.
- Saiko Hasumi arrived at the new construction site. There was a man who Saiko Hasumi has never met at the construction site. Saiko Hasumi realized that he is a new staff member, so she introduced herself. The man said he is unhealthy because of obesity, but Saiko Hasumi said it will be fine as long as he is alive. It was obvious for Saiko Hasumi.
- Saiko Hasumi opened a black container and started to mix without hesitation. There was cement and sand. It smelled nice for Saiko Hasumi, so she mixed more. Saiko Hasumi is familiar with that smell. What Saiko Hasumi should do now is to put the concrete.
- She grabbed the concrete and pushed it against the wall. Saiko Hasumi wanted to remove her hands, but the concrete is still unstable. So, Saiko Hasumi decided to wait for a while.
- What Saiko Hasumi is going to see is her beautiful work.
Huh.
The doctor closed the medical record and sighed.
He has to apologize to the new patient, Omura Isuke.
Saiko Hasumi disturbed him.
“What is she seeing...”
Everyone doesn’t know what she has been seeing.
Saiko Hasumi is in the hospital.
She has to cure illnesses caused by her extremely severe hallucination.
What do you see now?
ICD #F20.0 Omura Isuke
-Saiko Hasumi is a “nurse”.
She used to be a patient suffering from hallucinations.
However, Omura Isuke got used to going along with Saiko Hasumi as a patient of the hallucination. Omura Isuke decided to act as what Saiko Hasumi is expecting. So, for Omura Isuke, Saiko Hasumi is a “nurse” now.
59.5: Saiko Hasumi came into the room. Saiko Hasumi used to be rude, but she came into Omura Isuke’s room with a knock. Omura Isuke asked Saiko Hasumi about what she wanted. She instantly answered that she wants money. Omura Isuke gave the fake money to satisfy her. Saiko Hasumi stared at it with a weird laugh. Omura Isuke tried to smile, but he was still not used to making a fake smile.
72.4: Saiko Hasumi told Omura Isuke that she wanted to have a BBQ. Before Omura Isuke said something, Saiko Hasumi said she likes a BBQ. Omura Isuke allowed her to have a BBQ in his room as long as Saiko Hasumi herself prepared for it. Saiko Hasumi seemed to be hesitant, but it’s none of Omura Isuke’s business. Also, Omura Isuke didn’t know how to prepare for a BBQ in the hospital. After a couple of hours, Saiko Hasumi gave up and went to prepare for a BBQ. Saiko Hasumi managed to get a BBQ set somehow. Omura Isuke was still not used to making a fake smile, but at least his face was not grumpy anymore.
74.1: Saiko Hasumi lost her watch again. Saiko Hasumi always loses something.Omura Isuke couldn’t understand why Saiko Hasumi loses her watch. It’s on her wrist. However, every time Omura Isuke saw Saiko Hasumi, she didn’t have her watch. As usual, Omura Isuke gave Saiko Hasumi a new watch and said never lose it again. Saiko Hasumi seemed to be puzzled, but Omura Isuke was satisfied with it.
74.3: Saiko Hasumi came out of the room. Omura Isuke guessed that Saiko Hasumi had left something. Omura Isuke was right. Saiko Hasumi left fruits in beds. It was lucky that no other patients were using beds in his room. Saiko Hasumi should move to the same room so it’ll be convenient. Omura Isuke suggested to Saiko Hasumi to do so, but Saiko Hasumi refused to share the room.
Omura Isuke recognized that the doctor came into the room.
“Omura Isuke, how are you?”
“I’m fine. I’m having fun with Saiko Hasumi.”
“…Okay.”
“Don’t worry! Well, it’s time to prepare for tomorrow.”
The doctor closed the door.
“Oh gosh. I have to apologize for Omura Isuke’s behavior…”
The situation is getting worse.
Omura Isuke is a patient.
He is staying in the hospital longer than the original plan.
ICD #Z71.0 Saiko Hasumi
Omura Isuke is a patient.
He used to be a patient suffering from obesity.
However, Saiko Hasumi got suspicious of Omura Isuke as a patient of obesity. Saiko Hasumi decided to see what Omura Isuke is actually suffering from. So, for Saiko Hasumi, Omura Isuke is a “new” patient now.
59.5: Omura Isuke saw the door open. Omura Isuke used to be annoyed, but he welcomed Saiko Hasumi without hesitation. Omura Isuke asked Saiko Hasumi about what she wanted. Saiko Hasumi answered that she wants money. Saiko Hasumi was asked to receive money. Omura Isuke stared at her with a grumpy face. Saiko Hasumi tried to smile, but she was still not used to making a fake smile.
72.4: Omura Isuke asked Saiko Hasumi what she wanted to do. Before Saiko Hasumi said something, Omura Isuke decided to have a BBQ. Saiko Hasumi was told to prepare for a BBQ by herself at Omura Isuke’s room. Saiko Hasumi was hesitant, but it seemed it’s none of Omura Isuke’s business. Also, Omura Isuke seemed like he didn’t know how to prepare for a BBQ in the hospital. After a couple of hours, Omura Isuke got mad and went crazy. Saiko Hasumi managed to get a BBQ set by rushing to Don Quijote. Saiko Hasumi started to get used to making a fake smile, but not enough to make it completely natural.
74.1: Omura Isuke took out the package again. Omura Isuke always gives something. Saiko Hasumi couldn’t understand why Omura Isuke gave her the watch. It’s on her wrist. However, every time Saiko Hasumi sees Omura Isuke, he says she doesn't have a watch. As usual, Omura Isuke gave Saiko Hasumi a new watch and said never lose it again. Omura Isuke seemed to be satisfied with it, but Saiko Hasumi was puzzled.
74.3: Omura Isuke came back from rehabilitation. Saiko Hasumi guessed that Omura Isuke would say something. Saiko Hasumi was right. Omura Isuke said she left fruits in beds. It was other patients who were using beds in his room. Omura Isuke should move to a private room so it’ll be safe. Saiko Hasumi tried to suggest to Omura Isuke to do so, but Omura Isuke wanted her to share the room.
Saiko Hasumi recognized that the doctor came to her desk.
“Saiko Hasumi, how are you?”
“I’m fine. I’m having fun with Omura Isuke.”
“…Okay.”
“Don’t worry. Well, it’s time to report for today.”
Saiko Hasumi closed the medical record.
“Thank you. I have to apologize for Omura Isuke’s behavior.”
“No, that’s fine. I suppose that I did the same thing.”
Saiko Hasumi is no longer a patient.
She is staying in the hospital as a therapist.
