AI and Scholarly Publishing in Education

Researchers examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping scholarly publishing in education. They explore AI’s current and potential roles in peer review, editorial decision-making, editorial board development, and journal policy formation. Findings highlight how human and nonhuman actors co-construct editorial practices, revealing tensions surrounding authority, equity, labor, and accountability while offering critical and practical insights for developing ethical, inclusive, and future-oriented editorial ecosystems.
