Student Life

Reading University Students’ Union (RUSU) is a well- known association that helps students experience studying at Reading. Students become a member of the organisation spontaneously upon Enrolment. The university is celebrated for its outstanding music festivals every year. Especially, in summer there have been found lively city famed for hosting the festival in the UK. Nearly 87,000 music lovers attend and enjoy the celebration. Therefore, parks, shopping and sports facilities make the place’ the Berkshire town livable.

Living Accommodation

The university's UPP provides students with housing contracts that are in line with residence halls of residence and an extension to the waiver of the halls licencing cost. The annual cost of living in this area ranges from £4,520 to £5,960. For undergraduate and graduate students, Reading offers catered and self-catered housing. The luxury modern flats with historic corridor-style blocks and self-catered rooms help students. As a result, the Whiteknights and London Road campuses include a large number of eateries and cafes.
