Math was and will always be my favorite subject and the course that I most love. The math course at UPP is an introduction to different math courses at the university, so it helped us a lot not only to learn rules and calculation techniques, but also how to think when facing a new logical problem. The instructor always asks us to try to think and come up with the rule or the formula before he teaches it.

We firstly learned some advanced rules related to probability with exercises to master the techniques. After that, we were introduced to the matrices and all related operations; then the logic, sequence, and finally simple, double and triple integrations. They were all great lessons and so beneficial to me.

Integration was the much complicated lesson, not because I didn’t understand it, but because of the calculation mistakes; however, I decided to write every single step slowly and carefully so that I don’t forget anything. That technique worked very well and I started getting the correct results.

What I loved about this course is that we have plenty of time for practicing so that I mastered the skills we were asked to study. I became better and faced no problem in solving any exercise related to the lessons that were given to us.
