It is my vision to see all service area professions operate in ways that honor esteem and validate the multicultural norms of our diverse global community.
Mission Statement:
It is my mission to increase both the understanding and the application of multicultural values in the social interactions, policies, practices, and program planning of all service area organizations.
Here our core organizational operational values:
Agape based servant-leadership: We believe that the powers of our given positions exists in part to empower the powerless and to fulfill the duties of our assignments willingly, ethically and efficiently.
The student's/client's testimony of their experiences is authoritative: We consider the students'/clients' interpretations of their experiences as the primary authoritative perspective of those experiences.
Any Data (evidence) that indicates imbalance, ineffectiveness, or harm must be immediately addressed and corrected: When data shows that organizational practices or decisions are producing undesired or imbalanced results, organizational leaders are to acknowledge the findings, to invite the expertise and input of others to help determine the root cause(s) of the issue, and to determine procedural adjustments or changes that must occur to balance the imbalance or to restore our organizational integrity.
