What Embroidery is on the board?
Currently I am working on an Elizabethan Coif pattern designed by Laura Mellen and the embroidery is in silk. It took awhile to learn the difference of working in silk and cotton embroidery thread.

8/16/22 - Gold Work is considered Embroidery with a unique set of tools. I have been fortunate to find some incredible research work and dating of Gold Work techniques. Even though I love standard Embroidery, Goldwork actually feels right as a companion to Bead Embroidery. So, I believe I will start a new page with all of the research I have found and will continue to find.
