"The Rose is a Rose"   Earrings made for largess to be given to the Ladies of the Rose.  The center beads are not period, just decorative

2021- I had received a lovely embroidered Bee and Crown for my " SCA 100 days of Service" completion.  It so reminded me of an Elizabethan piece and I decided it would make a lovely pin for either a scarf or favor.  My signature stitches are included.

2021- Using the pattern developed for Ellisif's Laurel cloak - I then made a medallion for my Peer - Mistress Annora Hall

Her Majesty Adelhait -Second Reign

For Her Majesties Second Reign, she selected a sleeve as a favor to gift.  Countess Brigit Bishop who excels in Fabric stamping and painting presented her majesty with lovely stamped sleeves that were sewn at the wrist and could be used as a small purse hanging from the belt.   I really just could not leave it alone.  Needless to say, it was pearled.  I had a lovely time pearling this sleeve.

Only 3mm and 4mm glass pearls were used

I had decided I would love to have a beaded veil for the upcoming completion of my new Cotehardie - and at the same time I would work on a new veil stitch as presented by Grace Schosser of The Kingdom of Trimaris.  The beaded over-veil is done with 3mm and 2mm pearls and I love the rippling effect of the stitch and the weight of the beads gives it a nice drape.  I look forward to seeing how this veil over the long veil with a wimple and cotehardie will look together.

6/26/21- For the Coronation of Eckehard and Jane - I had designed a Bead Embroidery Padded Band to attached to my netted coif which had been beaded to match.

The Padded Band was brown to match the netted Coif.

For the Coronation - Lace was Pearled and then attached to the mask.  Very elegant but you definately cannot use any lipstick or gloss on this mask.

Silver Nautilus

During Twelfth Night - I entered the Kingdom of Atlantia Tempore - 1500 to 1600.  I received a Silver Nautilus for my Pelican Cap submission .  I really wanted to design an award that would do this award justice.  Annora recommended using an ammonite which would be perfect.   Here is the result using blue green pearls for the Seafoam thrones.

What an incredible SCA event.  I displayed and participated in a re-creation of Richard III - The Princes in the Tower by Royal Highness, Adelhait Fuchs.  I played Margaret Beaufort - Countess of Richmond and I had constructed a Houppeland and Truncated Hennin.   I was consistently reviewing art by our newest and old artisans of the Kingdom - We had 5 pearl elevations and four Dophin elevations.  Bryan Sears (Lord   ) was belted as an Protoge to Bambi (Maria Beatriz la Mora).  We had a lovely Feast and the photo's speak volumes.  I've never been photographed personally as much as I was at this event.  The Burgundian was made out of wool and was actually quite comfortable with the exception of warmth.
