2021- I had received a lovely embroidered Bee and Crown for my " SCA 100 days of Service" completion. It so reminded me of an Elizabethan piece and I decided it would make a lovely pin for either a scarf or favor. My signature stitches are included.
2021- Using the pattern developed for Ellisif's Laurel cloak - I then made a medallion for my Peer - Mistress Annora Hall
Please see the Persona Challenge 2022
For Her Majesties Second Reign, she selected a sleeve as a favor to gift. Countess Brigit Bishop who excels in Fabric stamping and painting presented her majesty with lovely stamped sleeves that were sewn at the wrist and could be used as a small purse hanging from the belt. I really just could not leave it alone. Needless to say, it was pearled. I had a lovely time pearling this sleeve.
I had decided I would love to have a beaded veil for the upcoming completion of my new Cotehardie - and at the same time I would work on a new veil stitch as presented by Grace Schosser of The Kingdom of Trimaris. The beaded over-veil is done with 3mm and 2mm pearls and I love the rippling effect of the stitch and the weight of the beads gives it a nice drape. I look forward to seeing how this veil over the long veil with a wimple and cotehardie will look together.
6/26/21- For the Coronation of Eckehard and Jane - I had designed a Bead Embroidery Padded Band to attached to my netted coif which had been beaded to match.
The Padded Band was brown to match the netted Coif.
For the Coronation - Lace was Pearled and then attached to the mask. Very elegant but you definately cannot use any lipstick or gloss on this mask.

During Twelfth Night - I entered the Kingdom of Atlantia Tempore - 1500 to 1600. I received a Silver Nautilus for my Pelican Cap submission . I really wanted to design an award that would do this award justice. Annora recommended using an ammonite which would be perfect. Here is the result using blue green pearls for the Seafoam thrones.

It was my honor to coordinate the Tempore Atlantia competition this weekend, for the time period 1350-1500. We had five outstanding entrants, each of whom took the theme and ran with it in inspiring ways.
The winner of this Crown's Tempore Atlantia is Mistress Adair of Maykswell ( Catherine Yvonne King ). Photos of her phenomenal embroidered and beaded purses are below.

I had considered what would be the best way to recognize specific Women in the SCA. Women that offered inspiration to other women and built them up and did not tear them down. Goodness knows I have Cabachons beyond measure and I keep receiving more each year and then the idea of " Necklaces of Inspiration" came to fruitition.
