Deep Cleaning Limestone Floor In Coleorton

The deep cleaning takes place before repairing etch damage

The first step in cleaning the limestone floor is to remove the existing sealer.

The sealer remover chemical is formulated to break down and soften a sealer so it can be scrubbed off the surface of the floor.

Working in sections, I allowed the sealer remover chemical to penetrate the sealer and soften it for 20 minutes.

I used a rotary scrubber and a green scrubbing pad to remove the sealer from the surface of the tiles.

Then I used a medium-grade scrubbing rush to remove sealer from small surface dents in the tiles' surface.

The scrubbing brush also removed any remaining from deep-set gout.

I vacuumed up the cleaning slurry with a high capacity wet vacuum.

I rinsed the floor with clean water a couple of times to ensure that I had removed all residues.

A sealer remover is a multi purpose chemical. It also acts as a heavy duty cleaner.

So removing the sealer also deep cleaned the floor

Finally I left the floor to air dry.
