Cleaning Limestone Floors in Coleorton Leicestershire
Our Abbey Floor Care website was discovered by my client while searching for professional limestone cleaning services in Coleorton, Leicestershire.
Coleorton can be found in North West Leicestershire. It is approximately 2 miles (3 km) east of Ashby de la Zouch, on the A512.
My client requested:
the kitchen tiles be cleaned
etch marks repaired
grout cracks repaired
the floor resealed with a mid-sheen surface sealer.

The tiles had a stained finish.
The Limestone was stained from oil, grease, or other cooking spillages.
The soil was covering the floors. To remove the soil, I vacuumed the floor.
To remove the sealant, I used a floor cleaner specifically designed to remove waxes and acrylic sealers.
A few tiles had large etch marks.
I removed the etch marks from the tiles and polished them to match.
To polish the floor, I used diamond pads of 100 grit and 200 grit.
To fill in cracks and areas not covered by grout, we used colour matcherd grout.
To seal the Limestone, I used a surface sealer. This is a common sealer that I use for Limestone as well as other tiles such Terracotta, Sandstone, or Slate.
Limestone kitchen floors can be maintained easily with regular damp mopping or dry sweeps. The floor should be cleaned at minimum three times per week. If there are children or pets, it should be cleaned more often.
