International Conferences

AAGS organised an annual international conference to bring together scholars from all over the world to discuss issues of global relevance to the Asia Pacific community. These conferences rotated from country to country every year, and were usually held somewhere in the Asia Pacific region.

Regional Forums

AAGS also sometimes organised smaller, one day, Regional Forums for members in one country and these were organised by regional AAGS representatives. In the past these were exclusively held in Japan as most of the senior executives were based there, but AAGS encouraged other Regional Representatives to do so. These were usually to showcase recent research conducted by AAGS members, but were open to all.

National Seminars

AAGS Regional Representatives could also organise National Seminars on a specific topic and these were open to all to attend and present. The AAGS encouraged Regional Representatives to do so.
