Dr. Karsten Krueger (PhD.), is Associate Professor of Anthropology, Film+Media Studies at Shantou University, College of Liberal Arts, Center for Global Studies. He specializes in Visual Anthropology, Ethnographic Documentary Film, Chinese Film+Documentary Film , Visual Culture Studies and Cultural+Digital Cultural Heritage Studies. His current research includes inquiries into History of Chinese Ethnographic Film/Visual Anthropology , Visual Culture of China – especially the Chaoshan Region – Cultural Heritage/ Digital Heritage Preservation, History of

Treaty-Port Photography, Digital Humanities and explorations into the relationship between Anthropology and Art in Asia. Prof. Krueger has more than 20 Years of Teaching Experience in Institutions of Higher Learning ( University Level) in Germany, China and Hong Kong. In 2002 he received the Friendship with Yunnan Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Development of Yunnan Province Academia, Kunming, China and in 2005 the Friendship with Guangdong Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Development of Guangdong Province Academia, Guangzhou, China. Professor Krueger served as Scientific Advisor to the Chinese Association of Visual Anthropology (CAVA). He was a member of the Advisory board - Documentary Film Department , Yunnan TV, Kunming, China, a Film Consultant (Greater China-Asia) for the Leipzig International Documentary and Animation Film festival, DOK Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany. He was also a Doc-Film Program Curator for the Shanghai-based German Goethe Institute.

Dr. Anita Bhela (Ph.D., KU, India; M.A., M.Phil., University of Delhi, India ) is Associate Professor, Department of English, DCAC, University of Delhi, India. Her areas of interest are Comparative Studies, Religion and Culture, Shakespeare, Indian writing in English and English Language Teaching. Dr. P.C. “Pete” Kutschera, PhD, a native New Yorker, licensed social worker and retired U.S. Army Reserve Forces lieutenant colonel, is Director and Visiting Professor, Philippine Amerasian Research Center (PARC), College of Arts and Social Sciences, Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF College), Angeles City, Luzon, Philippines. He is Founder and Chief Academic Officer of the Amerasian Research Network, Ltd., a non-profit research NGO registered with the New York Office of the Department of State. The ARN, Ltd. is a full research partner of PARC-SPCF College. Both organizations are devoted to social scientific research on abandoned military Philippine and Pan Amerasians in other locales of East/Southeast Asia including Cambodia, Guam, Japan, Laos, Micronesia, Okinawa, South Korea and Vietnam. Dr. Kutschera holds a Ph.D. in Human Services from Walden University, USA and has authored a doctoral dissertation, more than six international research journal articles and presented 10 research papers devoted to Amerasian research since February, 2012 at academic conferences/symposia in the USA (Michigan State University and Gonzaga University, WA), Manila, the Philippines, Sydney, Australia; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Bangkok, Thailand, Singapore, Seoul, South Korea and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. A U.S. Citizen and permanent resident of the Philippines, he studied at the University of Wisconsin and received B.A. and M.S.W. degrees from the State University of New York at SUNY, New Paltz and SUNY, Albany respectively.
