their individual heart-beats actually start to synchronize -- even with zero physical contact. In neuroscience, the discovery of mirror neurons has shown us that we literally do feel each other’s pain -- and joy. And joy is definitely not a zero-sum game. The law of abundance says that if I give you a smile, that's not one less smile for me. The more I smile, the more I do smile. The more I love, the more love I have to give. So, when you give externally, you receive internally. How do the two compare? That's a question only you can answer for yourself, and that answer will keep changing as your awareness deepens. Yet this much is clear: if you only focus on the externals, you’ll live your life in the deadening pursuit of power and products. But if you stay in touch with your inner truth, you will come alive with joy, purpose, and gratitude. You will tap into the law of abundance. May you discover that to be truly selfish, you must be generous. In giving, may you fully experience what it means to receive. The Third Key Is To Dance: Our biggest problem with giving and receiving is that we try and track it. And when we do that, we lose the beat. The best dancers are never singularly focused on the mechanics of their movements. They know how to let go, tune into the rhythm and synchronize with their partners. It’s like that with giving too. It's a futile exercise to track who is getting what. We just have to dance. Take one of my friends for example, a very successful entrepreneur. Along his journey, he realized that it’s not just enough, as the cliché goes, to find your gifts. Gifts are actually meant to be given. In his daily life, he started cultivating some beautiful practices of generosity. For instance, every time he walked into a fancy restaurant, he told the waiter to find a couple that is most madly in love. "Put their tab on my bill, and tell them a stranger paid for their meal, with the hope that they pay it forward somewhere somehow," he would say. Being a fan of Batman, he took his anonymity seriously: "If anyone finds out it was me, the deal is off." Many restaurants, and waiters, knew him for this. And as a food connoisseur, some of his favorite places were also quite pricey -- upwards of a couple hundred bucks per person. On one such day, he walks into a nice restaurant and does his usual drill. The person serving him obliges. However, this time, the waiter comes back with a counter request. "Sir, I know you like to be anonymous, but when I told that couple about the tab being covered, the woman just started sobbing. In fact, it’s been ten minutes and she's still tearing up. I think it would make her feel better if you were to just introduce yourself, just this once." Seeing this, he agree to break his own cardinal rule and walks over to introduce himself. "M'aam, I was only trying to make your day. If it has brought up something, I'm so sorry." The woman excitedly says, "Oh no, not at all. You’ve just made my year, maybe my life. My husband and I, well, we work at a small nonprofit with physically challenged kids, and we have been saving up all year to have this meal here. It is our one year marriage anniversary today.” After a pause, she continues, “We always serve others in small ways, but to receive a kind act like this on our special day, well, it’s just an overwhelming testimonial that what goes around comes around. It renews our faith in humanity. Thank you. Thank you so much." All of them were in tears. They kept in touch, he joined their board and they are friends to this day. Now, in that scenario, who was the giver? Who was the receiver? And more "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain." 31/05/17, 17:33 - customerelakshya: *HOW EMPLOYEES ATTRITION REPORTS FAIL THE SANITY TEST?* You see a typical pie chart of any attrition analysis, it slices the reasons for exit into 3 to 4 broad categories.: Better Options Outside, Compelling Personal Reasons, Higher Education, Own Venture, etc. But how are we sure that these are reasons that caused employee exit? There are factors from employee side as well as Organisation side that limit the sanity of attrition analysis. Let me explain them. Employee Factors: Take a case of an employee who, for some reason, happens to strain his relationship with his Manager. Consequently, his Manager becomes unsupportive. This makes the employee’s continuance in the Organisation tough. He eventually finds an alternative job outside and leaves the Organisation. What do you think he would cite as the cause for his exit? Most of them, from my view, would prefer to cite better opportunity outside as the cause, over the strain in relationship. Why do they do so? There are several reasons for this Gracious Exit: 1. Employee prefers to go out graciously without ruffling the feathers. 2. Employees prefer to cite PULL factors over PUSH factors: Citing a PULL factor (factors that attract an employee into prospective Organisation) like better salary, better position or better growth would reflect positively on employee’s market value and demand, while the PUSH factors (factors that push an employee out of his current Organisation) like strain in relationship with Manager, or denial of promotion or lesser increment, etc., if cited as reasons, would negatively reflect on his capabilities and performance. 3. Background Verification: Employees would like to keep their record withthe current employer as positive as possible, so that if there is a background verification by the prospective employer, there are no negatives recorded. Organisational Factors: 1) Intent of Attrition Analysis: Most important among the Organizational is the intent or objective of attrition analysis. If the intent is just to send a monthly report to senior management, then one cannot expect any serious efforts to unravel the truth. On the other hand, if the intent is to make a serious introspection at Organizational level to find rough patches and clean them up, then the expectations would force a deep-cut analysis. Such an honest intent and introspection would create trust and confidence among employees that they are valued in the Organisation and empower them to be frank with their issues and concerns. This would also make Managers to be extra sensitive towards their reports, which can avert many potential exits. 2. _Role HR plays: The other critical Organizational factor is the role of HR. A friendly, mature and committed HR can play a vital role in sensing issues and resolving them proactively before they can escalate into exits. On the other hand, a mere compliant HR will just be satisfied with reporting whatever cited in exit discussions and will not gain the trust of employees to be frank. 3. Exit Norms: Tough exit norms like service of full notice period, mandatory completion of projects on hand and/or inducting the incumbent employee before getting relieved, may force the employees to hide the real cause and search for certain emotional and compelling personal reasons to get a smoother exit. It could be ageing parents necessitating the employee to return home and take care of family business or an ailing parent needing ward’s personal attention, etc. Such reasons sometimes may be able to get a smoother release for the employee, but it would not be long, in these days of LinkedIn and other social media, before one could find out if he joined any other Organisation. Even if he did so, on exit records, the cause remains unchanged with compelling personal reason. 4. Exit Discussions: Organisations normally have a specified person to conduct exit discussions on a specific format that may not be incisive enough to dig out real cause behind exit. What could help Organisations is to find a right person in each case, with whom the employee would be emotionally comfortable. At the same time, the person should be mature enough to traverse beyond specified format and dig deeper to elicit the exact cause for exit.. With all this, it is possible to sanitize our attrition analysis, if we make each of exit a trigger point for serious introspection at Organizational level, which requires a robust process to ensure we get deeper into the root-causes and find remedial measures backed by sincere execution. 31/05/17, 17:39 - customerelakshya: There once was a teacher who lived with a great number of students in a ? run-down ?old school? . The students supported themselves by begging for food in the bustling streets of a nearby town. Some of the students grumbled about their humble living conditions. In response, the old master said one day, "We must repair the walls of this temple. Since we occupy ourselves with study and meditation, there is no time to earn the money we will need. I have thought of a simple solution." All the students eagerly gathered closer to hear the words of their teacher. The master said, "Each of you must go into the town and steal goods that can be sold for money. In this way, we will be able to do the good work of repairing our temple." The students were startled at this suggestion from their wise master. But ? ? since they respected him greatly, they assumed he must have good judgment and did not ? ? protest. The wise master said sternly, "In order not to defile our excellent reputation by committing illegal and immoral acts, please be certain to steal when no one is looking. I ? do not want anyone to be caught." When the teacher walked away, the students discussed the plan among themselves. "It is wrong to steal," said one. "Why has our wise master asked us to do? this?" Another retorted, "It will allow us to build our temple, which is a good result. " They all agreed that their teacher was wise and just and must have a sensible reason for ? ? making such an unusual request. They set out eagerly for the town, promising each other ? that they would not disgrace their school by getting caught. "Be careful," they called to ? ? one another. "Do not let anyone see you stealing. " All the students except one young boy set forth. The wise master approached ? ? him and asked, "Why do you stay behind?" The boy responded, "I cannot follow your instructions to steal where no one ? ? will see me. Wherever I go, I am always there watching. My own eyes will see me steal." The wise master tearfully embraced the boy. "I was just testing the integrity ? ? of my students," he said. "You are the only one who has passed the test!" The boy went on to become a great teacher himself. 31/05/17, 17:45 - customerelakshya: 34 Questions to Ask Your Team to Define Your Employer Value Proposition Why Do You Need It? Albert Fantrau. Then hé said: "Yes, I am a great footballer today and all my success is thanks to my friend Albert" People looked at each other and said, "Who is this Mr. Fantrau?" as nobody heard of this name before. Then Ronaldo went on: "We played together in a youth Team. When Sporting's Recruiters came to observe us, they told us that the attacker who scored the most goals will be recruited in the Sporting Lisbon Academy. That day we had won 3-0. I scored the first goal and then Albert scored the 2nd in the lead. And then the 3rd goal was the one that impressed everyone. Albert started in the wing, then found himself face to face with the goalkeeper, dribbled the keeper and all he had to do, was to push the ball into the empty goals. In the meantime I ran to his side .... And instead of shooting in goal, Albert decided to pass the ball to me and I scored. This is how I find myself at the Sporting Lisbone's Academy. After the match I went to him and asked him, 'Why did you do that?' And he replied, 'Because I know that you are better than me'." Curious to know more, the Journalists went to inquire and were able to meet this Albert Fantrau to ask him if the story told by Ronaldo is true, and he confirmed it, adding that his footballer's career had ended after that match as it was the only opportunity he had to become professional and since then he has remained without employment. However, journalists, observing his luxurious house and his Mercedes car parked in the garage, asked Albert, "But being unemployed how could you have such a house and car so luxurious? You look pretty comfortable materially!" Albert's response: "All right, ALL these are Ronaldo's Gifts''. Moral of this story: Let us ask ourselves the following question: how many of us have ever done something similar to that of Ronaldo and Albert? On the contrary, many of us are guilty of the opposite of this story: chastity, egoism and ingratitude 31/05/17, 17:46 - a18-sundar natarajan mobile -sundy - friend - peenya-airport-bial-kaatu: Pottu* ?? 31/05/17, 17:47 - customerelakshya: Why do some people get all the luck while others never get the breaks they deserve? Professor Richard Wiseman, a psychologist after interviewing Hundreds of extraordinary men and women over the years, monitoring their lives found the answer as under: Lucky people generate good fortune via four principles. They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations, and adopt a resilient, “never say die” the attitude that transforms bad luck into good. So, here are four tips for becoming lucky: Listen to your gut instincts – they are often right Be open to new experiences and breaking your normal routine Spend a few moments each day remembering things that went well Visualize yourself being lucky before an important meeting or phone call. Remember that the happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems, but those who learn to enjoy things that are less than perfect. 31/05/17, 18:05 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 18:06 - customerelakshya: 10 most relevant skills from year 2017 31/05/17, 18:19 - customerelakshya: Here is the 3D approach for improving your focus: 1. Shorten your to-do list It’s a good habit to make a to-do list. But don’t include every small task in it. It’ll only increase your stress and distract your mind every time you see it. Instead, make a small list with just 2-3 most crucial things to do in a day and assign sufficient time for each of these activities. 2. ???????Make a schedule for petty but important things Watching or reading news, taking a coffee break, attending meetings, or answering phone calls or emails are other things that consume a lot of time. But, you can’t avoid such activities. They don’t add to your output, but you’ve to do them anyway. Allocate time for them and make them a part of your schedule. What’s more important is to stick to the schedule. 3. Do the hardest thing first. Doing the toughest thing first will boost your confidence and also take the thing out of your mind enabling you to focus on other things for the rest of the day. 31/05/17, 18:19 - customerelakshya: Boost your self confidence. Self confidence can get you far in this world. Employers, potential partners and friends all appreciate strong, self confident people. It's an admired trait. But even if you don't FEEL confident, there are ways to APPEAR confident, and when you succeed in doing that, you'll find that, very quickly, you actually feel as confident as you seem to be! #1: Practice exhibiting confidence through your body language There is much evidence pointing to body language as a path to developing real self confidence. A 'fake it till you make it' approach can actaully generate real confidence. So stand up straight, don't slouch, don't look at the floor. Pull your shoulders back, push out your chest a bit and have some space between your feet when you stand. Also, don't touch your face when talking to others, this is a clear sign of a lack of confidence, don't play with your hair or look anywhere but the person you are talking to. Which brings us to our next point. #2: Smile smileSmiling is powerful. It makes others realize you have it good, that you are relaxed and content. Smile and let it show in your eyes. You'll see it not only makes a big difference in how people relate to you, but it also, eventually, makes you feel that much better. #3: Make eye contact and keep it Don't be the first to look away. When your eyes meet another, hold on to them, especially if you or they are talking. Don't stare, just move your eyes to theirs and hold, let them drop to the face and then back up. Don't break eye contact quickly, people who will immediately break eye contact give the impression that they either feel guilty for something, don't trust the person or are bored. You can practice this with random people, and you may be surprised at their reaction when you get the nerve just to look them in the eyes. It will transmit confidence and interest. #4: Don't fidget Compusively moving your foot or nodding as someone else is talking transmits a lack of calm. To develop your self confidence, you'll need to be aware of your body and keep calm. If you feel yourself start to fidget, take a deep breath, disconnect for a moment and count to 3. Then release your breath and return to reality in control of your body. #5: Halt before you talk When you are talking to another person, listen to them intently, don't cut them off and don't start talking immediately after they are done. Take 3 seconds to process the information, and then formulate a response that is quiet and shows that you really listened. Use specific details if possible. The time you take to think and process what the other person said would make you look more confident, wiser and kinder. Remember, fools shout and cut others off, while strong, confident people take the time to listen and formulate a relevant response to what was said. #6: Let others speak Continuing from our last point, try to get people to talk. Find out what questions they like being asked and encourage them to answer. People love being listened to, and once you do you'll discover there is always an advantage to knowing more about the person than they know about you. Also, the more open and direct you are in your questions, the more confident you'll seem. Just one word of advice: There is a thin line between being direct and being rude, find it and tread it carefully, you want to ask good questions but do it in a kind and offhand manner that'll put others at ease. #7: Don't cut people off We return to this point because it is so common. Many of us are used just to listen to the gist of what people are saying while waiting to give our own input. But being cut off is annoying, insulting and sometimes hurtful. Besides, you may miss out on important information. This takes a lot of patience, especially when people will just talk your ear off. But once you gain control of this need to give your own input right away, you'll discover it has powerful advantages. A man in control is a confident man, one who can listen to others' mistakes without having to correct them immediately. On the other hand, if someone cuts you off, be assertive but calm, and ask politely that you be given the oppurtunity to finish. Don't look grouchy, they probably didn't mean to do it, just smile and be kind about it. #8: Dress well It's amazing how much we get judged on visuals alone. You can take great advantage of that fact by being always well dressed. Get an honest friend to tell you what looks good on you and what does not. Find a balance between comfort and a great look. # 9: Excercise Yes, even in an article about self confidence you won't escape this essential advice. Physical activity is a huge source of self confidence. Research has demonstrated that there is a direct link between sports and chemicals being released in the brain to cause euphoria. Physical activity will also improve your looks, which will also add to your self confidence. And don't forget, just proving to ourselves what our bodies can do is a great boost to our confidence. Do any kind of physical activity for a better overall feeling and a great boost in self pride and respect. excercise #10: Remember the good times One of the things that we rely on for self confidence is reliving the best moments of our lives. Each time you remember that great day - a game you won, a trip you took, a person you loved - this will do wonders for your self-esteem as well as a a good excuse to call old friends... 31/05/17, 18:21 - customerelakshya: *joke funny* On his very first day of work, he dials the pantry and shouts into the phone -"Get me a coffee, quickly!" So, one of the epic named Baahubali had seriously propelled us to rethink our views, principles and strategies that we adopt for attaining success in an organization. So let’s have a glance at the same to exactly determine your pristine abilities and how you can actually use them so as to remain inspired and motivated. Thus, plan and ideate for innovations and get them achieved by the impressive parameters of humanity that had been laid by this epic. 1. Rather than being a winner be a protector “Ek raja ka dharam sirf shatru ko maarna hi nahi hota ... praja ko bachana bhi hota hai” So, as an admirable practice, every organization or its governing leader tends to stay ahead in the competition. The same is true as well, but be a Baahubali kingdom or an organization both always aim for achieving the victory that can be remained conserved. Acquire the support of your in-house team and employees and make them realize about their roles and responsibilities in the same way as Katappa did while Kunthala kingdom was sentenced to a vast myriad of enemies. Never undermine the #competencies of your employees and always make them independent enough so as to make them truly empowered. 2. Respect Women “Aurat par haath daalne wale ki ungaliyaan nahin kaat tey, kaat tey hain toh gala” Always adore and appreciate women. Since every organization is comprised of versatile characters, thus, keeping them all the time safe is a sole responsibility of an organization. As it can be seen in Baahubali that Devsena actually cut down the fingers of Sethupathi for his illegal touching activities while Baahubali sentenced him to death. Since they are criticized for their behavior, dressing and for every related things hence, an ecosystem should be developed so as to maintain their dignity. Her work, her nature and even her character are questioned every time and no doubt she is being rumored with insane thoughts that obviously undermines her motivation and respect. So get her a sophisticated environment so as to allow her to showcase her originality. Hence, women should be given all the justified rights to get themselves protected within the organization. 3. Motivate your employees "Samay har kaayar ko shoorveer banne ka ek avsar deta h, veh kshan yehi hai" Always remember to inspire your employees to face the situations with the utmost determination and intelligence. As Baahubali inspired Kumar Verma for facing the enemies in order to save the women, in the same way an organization should also give at least single chance to all the employees in order to prove themselves. Do not criticize or undermine them as for sure their experiences will provide the organization with a boosted platform for performing future deeds. 4. Let your work speak “Apne haathon ko hathiyar bna lo, apni saason ko andhi mein badal do, humara rakt hi humari mahasena hai” Rather than criticizing your teammates, employees and complaining about them, learn to work. Work for your own satisfaction, with your own style. It is always a good practice to support your employees, but make sure to allow them for working independently. Baahubali was thrown out of the kingdom, but instead he was certainly making his work and deeds more remarkable and his actions were strong enough to make him get identified in the crowd. 5. Prohibit traditional cultures “Aise uphaaron ke liye aap jaise log poonchh hilate honge, mere liye yeh pair ki dhool bhi nahin” Always remember to upgrade the organizational skills and working strategies so as to produce unrestrained success. Using traditional practices or outdated methodologies for executing the tasks can lead to a downfall in gathering productive results. Like, the kingdom of Mahishmati was highly furnished and developed, but lacked the advanced strategies for making the justice due to which Devsena was put with the steel bars. Though she was right every time, whether during rejecting Bhallaldev marriage proposal or questioning Shivgami for making her husband down while the king was taking over his duties. So, adopting the practices that can meet with the market requirements should be planned, prioritized and executed so as to stay ahead. 6. Thrive for respect not position “Singhasan k lye aapka vachan tod dun to aapki parvarish ka apmaan hoga maa” Always do good deeds in order to earn respect. Do not chase for position instead chase for gaining a respectable work image. Baahubali truly followed humanity and saved lives of many. He lost the throne for saving her wife’s dignity, but eventually he got more respect. While he was thrown out, he did good things using his skills to solve the day to day problems and thus earned an amicable reputation in the hearts of people. So, these are some of the key points that can obviously change your visualization while handling an organization or heading the team of several employees, so adopt the traits of Baahubali in order to augment the business horizon. Visualize with passion, work with dedication and achieve with determination so as to conquer a victorious and unparalleled success. 31/05/17, 18:39 - customerelakshya: The best conversation between two characters from Mahabharat: Karna asks Krishna - "My mother left me the moment I was born. Is it my fault I was born an illegitimate child? I did not get education from Dhronacharya because I was considered a non Kshatriya. Parshu-Raam taught me but then gave me the curse to forget everything since I was a kshatriya. A cow was accidentally hit by my arrow & its owner cursed me for no fault of mine. I was disgraced in Draupadi's swayamvar. Even Kunti finally told me the truth only to save her other sons. Whatever I received was through Dhuryodhana's charity. So how am I wrong in taking his side?" Krishna replies, "Karna, I was born in a jail. Death was waiting for me even before my birth. The night I was born I was separated from my birth parents. From childhood you grew up hearing the noise of swords, chariots, horses, bow and arrows. I got only cow herd's shed, dung, and multiple attempts on my life even before I could walk! No army, no education. I could hear people saying I am the reason for all their problems. When all of you were being appreciated for your valour by your teachers I had not even received any education. I joined gurukula of Rishi Sandipani only at the age of 16! You are married to a girl of your choice. I didn't get the girl I loved & rather ended up marrying those who wanted me or the ones I rescued from demons. I had to move my whole community from the banks of Yamuna to far off Sea shore to save them from Jarasandh. I was called a coward for running away. If Dhuryodhana wins the war you will get lot of credit. What do I get if Dharmaraja wins the war? Only the blame for the war and all related problems. Remember one thing Karna. Everybody has challenges in life. LIFE IS NOT FAIR ON ANYBODY. Dhuryodhan also has a lot of unfairness in life and so ha Yudhhishthir. But what is Right (Dharma) is known to your mind Conscience. No matter how much unfairness we got, how many times we were disgraced, how many times we were denied what was due to us, what is important is how you REACTED at that time. Stop whining Karna. Life's unfairness does not give you license to walk 31/05/17, 18:41 - customerelakshya: A 10-year-old boy decided to study judo despite the fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident. The boy began lessons with an old Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn't understand why, after three months of training the master had taught him only one move. "Sensei," the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be learning more moves?" "This is the only move you know, but this is the only move you'll ever need to know,"the sensei replied. Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training. Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first tournament. Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his only move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals. This time, his opponent was bigger and stronger. Concerned that the boy might get hurt, the referee called a time-out. He was about to stop the match when the sensei intervened. "No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue." Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the tournament. "Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one move?" "You won for two reasons," the sensei answered. "First, you've almost mastered one of the most difficult throws in all of judo. And second, the only known defence for that move is for your opponent to grab your left arm." The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength. "Sometimes we feel that we have certain weaknesses and we blame the circumstances and ourselves for it but we never know that our weakness can become our strength one day." 31/05/17, 18:50 - customerelakshya: A man had a little daughter, an only and much beloved child. He lived only for her, she was his life. So when she became ill and her illness resisted the efforts of the best obtainable physicians, he became like a man possessed, moving heaven and earth to bring about her restoration to health. His best efforts proved fruitless, however, and the child died. The father was totally irreconcilable. He became a bitter recluse, shutting himself away from his many friends, refusing every activity that might restore his poise and bring him back to his normal self. Then one night he had a dream. He was in heaven and witnessing a grand pageant of all the little child angels. They were marching in an apparently endless line past the Great White Throne. Every white-robed, angelic tot carried a candle. He noticed, however, that one child’s candle was not lit. Then he saw that the child with the dark candle was his own little girl. Rushing towards her, while the pageant faltered, he seized her in his arms, caressed her tenderly, and asked, “How is that your candle is the only one not lit?” “Father, they often relight it, but your tears always put it out again,” she said. Just then he awoke from from his dream. The lesson was crystal clear, and it’s effects were immediate. From that hour on he was no longer a recluse, but mingled freely and cheerfully with his former friends and associates. No longer would his little darling’s candle be extinguished by his useless tears. 31/05/17, 18:54 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:03 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:05 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:05 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:09 - customerelakshya: Strengths consist of 5 components namely; 1. Feeney sat in a cushy armchair in an apartment on the east side of Manhattan, grandchildren’s artwork taped to the walls, and said that by the end of 2016, he was going to hand out the last of a great fortune that he had made. It was a race: Mr. Feeney was then 81, and Atlantic Philanthropies, a collection of private foundations he had started and funded, still had about $1.5 billion left. Flinging money out the window or writing checks willy-nilly was not Mr. Feeney’s way. Last month, Mr. Feeney and Atlantic completed the sprint and made a final grant, $7 million to Cornell University, to support students doing community service work. He had officially emptied his pockets, meeting his aspiration of “giving while living.” Altogether, he had contributed $8 billion to his philanthropies, which have supported higher education, public health, human rights and scientific research. “You’re always nervous handling so much money, but we seem to have worked it pretty well,” Mr. Feeney, now 85, said last week in a phone interview. His remaining personal net worth is slightly more than $2 million. That’s not quite broke, by any standard, but it is a modest amount for a man who controlled thousands of times as much wealth. He and his wife, Helga, now live in a rented apartment in San Francisco. “You can only wear one pair of pants at a time,” Mr. Feeney has said. Until he was 75, he traveled only in coach, and carried reading materials in a plastic bag. For many years, when in New York, he had lunch not at the city’s luxury restaurants, but in the homey confines of Tommy Makem’s Irish Pavilion on East 57th Street, where he ate the burgers. None of the major American philanthropists have given away a greater proportion of their wealth, and starting in 1982, Mr. Feeney did most of this in complete secrecy, leading Forbes magazine to call him the “James Bond of philanthropy.” His name does not appear in gilded letters, chiseled marble or other forms of writing anywhere on the 1,000 buildings across five continents that $2.7 billion of his money paid for. For years, Atlantic’s support came with a requirement that the beneficiaries not publicize its involvement. 31/05/17, 19:13 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:15 - customerelakshya: A man stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived two hundred miles away. As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing. He asked her what was wrong and she replied, “I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother and I don’t have enough money.” The man smiled and said, “Come on in with me. I’ll buy you a rose.” He bought the little girl her rose and ordered his own mother’s flowers. As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home. She said, “Yes, please! You can take me to my mother.” She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave. The man returned to the flower shop, canceled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the two hundred miles to his mother’s house. 31/05/17, 19:17 - customerelakshya: There is an ancient story.. A man who has gone out of his town comes back and finds that his house is on fire. It was one of the most beautiful houses in the town, and the man loved the house the most! Many people were ready to give double the price for the house, but he had never agreed for any price and now it is just burning before his eyes. And thousands of people have gathered, but nothing can be done, the fire has spread so far that even if you try to put it out, nothing will be saved. So he becomes very sad. His son comes running and whispers something in his ear: "Don't be worried. I sold it yesterday and at a very good price ? three times. The offer was so good I could not wait for you. Forgive me." Father said, "thank God, it's not ours now!" Then the father is relaxed and became a silent watcher, just like 1000s of other watchers. Please think about it! Just a moment before he was not a watcher, he was attached. It is the same house....the same fire.... everything is the same...but now he is not concerned. In fact started enjoying it just as everybody else in the crowd. Then the second son comes running, and he says to the father, "What are you doing? You are smiling ? and the house is on fire?" The father said, "Don't you know, your brother has sold it." He said, "we have taken only advance amount, not settled fully. I doubt now that the man is going to purchase it now." Again, everything changes!! Tears which had disappeared, have come back to the father's eyes, his smile is no more there, his heart is beating fast. The 'watcher' is gone. He is again attached. And then the third son comes, and he says, "That man is a man of his word. I have just come from him. He said, 'It doesn't matter whether the house is burnt or not, it is mine. And I am going to pay the price that I have settled for. Neither you knew, nor I knew that the house would catch on fire.'" Again the joy is back and family became 'watchers'! The attachment is no more there. Actually nothing is changing! just the feeling that "I am the owner! I am not the owner of the house!" makes the whole difference. This simple methodology of watching the mind, that you have nothing to do with it..Everything starts with a Thought ! Most of the thoughts are not yours but from your parents, your teachers, your friends, the books, the movies, the television, the newspapers. Just count how many thoughts are your own, and you will be surprised that not a single thought is your own. All are from other sources, all are borrowed ? either dumped by others on you, or foolishly dumped by yourself upon yourself, but nothing is yours. Sow a thought, you reap an action. Sow an act, you reap a habit. Sow a habit, you reap a character. Sow a character, you reap a destiny..! 31/05/17, 19:20 - customerelakshya: A Limousine, which was originally owned by Acharya Rajneesh was subsequently purchased by Mr. Zavere Poonawala who is a well-known Parsee industrialist in Pune( He is worth more than US $ 8 Billion). The said limousine was personally driven by Poonawala to carry the mortal remains of his personal driver who was with him for 30 years. The humility and the respects of Poonawala for his driver is hard to believe. This has happened in 2012. This is to recollect how great people behave and teach us about humility. See this real story: Mr. Zavere Poonawala (Brother of Dr. Cyrus Poonawala) is a well-known industrialist in Pune. He had this driver named Ganga Datt with him for the last 30 years on his Limousin. Ganga Datt passed away recently and at that time Mr. Poonawala was in Mumbai for some important work. As soon as he heard the news, he cancelled all his meetings, & requested the driver's family to await him for the cremation and came back to Pune immediately by a helicopter. On reaching Pune, he asked the Limousin to be decorated with flowers, as he wished Ganga Datt should be taken in the same car which he himself had driven since the beginning. When Ganga Datt's family agreed to his wishes, he himself drove Ganga Datt from his home up to the ghat on his last journey. When asked about it, Mr. Poonawala replied that Ganga Datt had served him day and night, and he could at least do this being eternally grateful to him. He further added that Ganga Datt rose up from poverty and educated both his children very well. His daughter is a Chartered accountant and that is so commendable. His comment in the end, is the essence of a successful life in all aspects: Everybody earns money which is nothing unusual in that, but we should always be grateful to those people who contribute to our success. This is the belief, we have been brought up with, which made me do, what I did. 31/05/17, 19:25 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 31/05/17, 19:25 - customerelakshya: internet of things 31/05/17, 19:25 - customerelakshya: 6 E’s of Great Leaders What is it that leaders actually do? These are the major practices of leadership that we must enact on a continual basis to be able to have the amount of influence and impact we desire, in our work lives or any role in which we’re leading other people ? 1: Envision: Great leaders envision a compelling, different and vibrant future than what’s here. Where there ’s no vision, people perish, so we have to envision. If you set a vision one time and forget about it, it’s not going to help you accomplish the influence or impact that you want. 2: Enlist: Enlist other people to share their voices, their perspective, their dreams and desires for where you could be going. People support what they create. If people are involved in the ideation of a vision, they’re involved in creating ideas, brainstorming, figuring out what it is we are about. Ask questions , pay attention to their needs. Enlist others to support and build this vision, this ideal future, together. 3: Embody: As leaders, we have to stand for and demonstrate and show and portray what we really believe in. 4: Empower: Giving people the decision-making authority and trust to be able to work toward this vision. It means allowing them the autonomy, strength, and input, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, abilities, technology, tools and training to allow them to succeed as they march with us to achieve something extraordinary and phenomenal. • Great leaders come in. • They nail the vision. • They get people around it. • They stand for something. • They empower people at the beginning, give some training and then they just disappear. 5: Evaluate: Evaluate their skills, needs and the ethics that are going on in our organization, in our team. We’re evaluating on these questions: • Are we being excellent? • Are we being ethical? • Are we being excellent and ethical as we are progressing? • Are we progressing? If not, why? • Are we being ethical? If not, why? • Are people being excellent? If not, why? 6: Encourage: Encourage. Be the champion. Be the cheerleader. Be the person always motivating, inspiring and uplifting people. That’s leadership. The six E’s: Envision, Enlist, Embody, Empower, Evaluate, Encourage. It’s important to us; that there’s a purpose, a mission to it that we feel deeply within us is so powerful; and we honor, respect and love those we work with. Now people are standing up and they are helping come up with a vision. They are championing and cheering on, bringing in and enlisting other people. They are standing up for something. They’re living that value and truth. They are empowering other people and championing the cause. They are your eyes and ears, evaluating how the organization or mission is going. They are encouraging it so it doesn’t just ride on your shoulders. When we do that right then we have this thing called leadership. 31/05/17, 19:28 - customerelakshya: I do not help my wife: A friend came to my house for coffee, we sat and talked, talking about life. At some point in the conversation, I said, "I'm going to wash the dishes and I'll be right back." He looked at me as if I had told him I was going to build a space rocket. Then he said to me with admiration but a little perplexed: "I'm glad you help your wife, I do not help because when I do my wife does not praise. Last week I washed the floor and there was no thanks." I went back to sit with him and explained that I did not "help" my wife. Actually, my wife does not need help, she needs a partner. I am a partner at home and through that society are divided functions, but it is not a "help" as household chores. I do not help my wife clean the house because I live here too and I need to clean it too. I do not help my wife to cook because I also want to eat and I need to cook too. I do not help my wife wash the dishes after eating because I also use those dishes. I do not help my wife with her children because they are also my children and my job is to be a father. I do not help my wife to wash, spread or fold clothes, because the clothes are also mine and my children. I am not a help at home, I am part of the house. And as for praising, I asked my friend when it was the last time after his wife finished cleaning the house, washing clothes, changing bed sheets, bathing in her children, cooking, organizing, etc. I said thank you But a thank you of the type: Wow, sweetheart !!! You are fantastic!!! Does that seem absurd to you? Are you looking strange? When you, once in a lifetime, cleaned the floor, you expected in the least a prize of excellence with great glory ... why? You never thought about that, my friend? Maybe because for you, the macho culture has shown that everything is her job. Perhaps you have been taught that all this must be done without having to move a finger? Then praise her as you wanted to be praised, in the same way, with the same intensity. Give him a hand, behave like a true companion, not as a guest who only comes to eat, sleep, bathe and satisfy needs ... Feel at home. In his house. The real change of our society begins in our homes, let us teach our sons and daughters the real sense of fellowship! Many people feel unhappy, health-wise and security-wise, after 60 years of age, owing to the diminishing importance given to them and their opinions. But, it need not be so, if only we understand the basic principles of life and follow them scrupulously. Here are ten mantras to age gracefully and make life after retirement pleasant. Never say I am aged' : There are three ages, chronological, biological, and psychological. The first is calculated based on our date of birth; the second is determined by the health conditions; the third is how old we feel we are. While we don't have control over the first, we can take care of our health with good diet, exercise and a cheerful attitude. A positive attitude and optimistic thinking can reverse the third age. Health is wealth: If you really love your kith and kin, taking care of your health should be your priority. Thus, you will not be a burden to them. Have an annual health check-up and take the prescribed medicines regularly. Do take health insurance coverage. Money is important: Money is essential for meeting the basic necessities of life, keeping good health and earning family respect and security. Don't spend beyond your means even for your children. You have lived for them all through and it is time you enjoyed a harmonious life with your spouse. If your children are grateful and they take care of you, you are blessed. But, never take it for granted. Relaxation and recreation: The most relaxing and recreating forces are a healthy religious attitude, good sleep, music and laughter. Have faith in God, learn to sleep well, love good music and see the funny side of life. Time is precious: It is almost like holding a horses' reins. When they are in your hands, you can control them. Imagine that everyday you are born again. Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is ready cash - use it profitably. Live this moment; live it fully, now, in the present time. Change is the only permanent thing: We should accept change - it is inevitable. The only way to make sense out of change is to join in the dance. Change has brought about many pleasant things. We should be happy that our children are blessed. Enlightened selfishness: All of us are basically selfish. Whatever we do, we expect something in return. We should definitely be grateful to those who stood by us. But, our focus should be on the internal satisfaction and the happiness we derive by doing good for others, without expecting anything in return. Perform a random act of kindness daily. Forget and forgive: Don't be bothered too much about others' mistakes. We are not spiritual enough to show our other cheek when we are slapped in one. But for the sake of our own health and happiness, let us forgive and forget them. Otherwise, we will be only increasing our blood pressure. Everything has a purpose: Take life as it comes. Accept yourself as you are and also accept others for what they are. Everybody is unique and is right in his own way. Overcome the fear of death: We all know that one day we have to leave this world. Still we are afraid of death. We think that our spouse and children will be unable to withstand our loss. But the truth is no one is going to die for you; they may be depressed for some time. Time heals everything and they will go on. 01/06/17, 10:20 - customerelakshya: Vanilla Ice Cream that puzzled General Motors Never underestimate your Customers' Complaint, no matter how funny it might seem! This is a real story that happened between the customer of General Motors and its Customer-Care Executive.A complaint was received by the Pontiac Division of General Motors: 'This is the second time I have written to you, and I don't blame you for not answering me, because I sounded crazy, but it is a fact that we have a tradition in our family of Ice-Cream for dessert after dinner each night, but the kind of ice cream varies so, every night, after we've eaten, the whole family votes on which kind of ice cream we should have and I drive down to the store to get it. It's also a fact that I recently purchased a new Pontiac and since then my trips to the store have created a problem. You see, every time I buy a vanilla ice-cream when I start back from the store my car won't start. If I get any other kind of ice cream, the car starts just fine. I want you to know I'm serious about this question, no matter how silly it sounds "What is there about a Pontiac that makes it not start when I get vanilla ice cream, and easy to start whenever I get any other kind?" The Pontiac President was understandably skeptical about the letter but sent an Engineer to check it out the car anyway. The latter was surprised to be greeted by a successful, obviously well-educated man in a fine neighborhood. He had arranged to meet the man just after dinner time, so the two hopped the car and drove to the ice cream store. It was vanilla ice cream that night and, sure enough, after they came back to the car, it wouldn't start. The Engineer returned for three more nights. The first night, they got chocolate. The car started. The second night, he got strawberry. The car started. The third night he ordered vanilla. The car failed to start. Now the engineer, being a logical man, refused to believe that this man's car was allergic to vanilla ice cream. He arranged, therefore, to continue his visits for as long as it took to solve the problem. And toward this end he began to take notes: He jotted down all sorts of data: time of day, type of gas uses, time to drive back and forth etc. In a short time, he had a clue: the man took less time to buy vanilla than any other flavor. Why? The answer was in the layout of the store. Vanilla, being the most popular flavor, was in a separate case at the front of the store for quick pickup. All the other flavors were kept in the back of the store at a different counter where it took considerably longer to check out the flavor. Now, the question for the Engineer was why the car wouldn't start when it took less time. Eureka - Time was now the problem - not the vanilla ice cream!!!! The engineer quickly came up with the answer: "vapor lock". It was happening every night; but the extra time taken to get the other flavors allowed the engine to cool down sufficiently to start. When the man got vanilla, the engine was still too hot for the vapor lock to dissipate. Even crazy looking problems are sometimes real and all problems seem to be simple only when we find the solution, with cool thinking. What really matters is your attitude and your perception. Debriefing of this story Customer feedback should never be ignored, no matter how silly they sound. The vapour lock problem would not have been detected if the engineer would have considered the man to be crazy. Therefore always approach a feedback with an open mind. 01/06/17, 10:26 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 01/06/17, 10:31 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 01/06/17, 10:33 - a18-sundar natarajan mobile -sundy - friend - peenya-airport-bial-kaatu: Nice?? ???? 01/06/17, 10:39 - customerelakshya: thanks for the appreciation ! this is what keeps me going. Want to change the status quo? Here’s some advice -- be careful before consulting “experts”… “An expert is someone who can tell you exactly how something can’t be done.” (See Peter’s Laws #21) In a rather perverse twist, experts are generally disincentivized from promoting disruptive ideas. If someone’s new theory creates a wholesale change in their field, then the expert goes from fame to a “has-been.” Many ‘experts’ are therefore consciously or unconsciously incentivized to keeping their field exactly the way it's always been. Here’s an example from the past… In the early 1700’s, calculating the longitude was extremely difficult, but very valuable for the British fleets. In attempt to solve the problem, the British government launched The Longitude Prize in 1714 – a £20,000 prize (millions in today's dollars) for the person who could build a device that could accurately calculate longitude. The Longitude Board was composed of the world’s greatest astronomers, experts in their fields, because it was assumed that the solution would be astronomical in nature. So when John Harrison, a watchmaker, proposed and built a unique timepiece (a clock), sufficiently accurate on a rocking ship to calculate longitude, the board of experts refused to award him the purse. Harrison believed that accurate timekeeping (not better astronomical measuring equipment) was the key to the problem. His clock (which didn’t rely on a pendulum) met all of the requirements of the Longitude Prize… Eventually (a decade later), the Longitude Prize was awarded to Harrison. Keep Innovating! Such a disconnect between the ‘status quo’ and the ‘disruptive innovator’ occurs over and over again. When I announced the $10 million Ansari XPRIZE in 1996, many of the “experts” in the aerospace industry explained to me how naive I was... that $10 million would never be enough to motivate a winning solution, and that there was no way a small team could pull it off. When Musk and Bezos proposed full reusability of their launch vehicle (the holy grail of rocketry, and something that the entire industrial-military complex had not been able to achieve), they were laughed at by many in the field. I will close this with a quote from Henry Ford... I LOVE this quote. Enjoy. "None of our men are 'experts.' We have most unfortunately found it necessary to get rid of a man as soon as he thinks himself an expert because no one ever considers himself expert if he really knows his job. A man who knows a job sees so much more to be done than he has done, that he is always pressing forward and never gives up an instant of thought to how good and how efficient he is. Thinking always ahead, thinking always of trying to do more, brings a state of mind in which nothing is impossible. The moment one gets into the 'expert' state of mind a great number of things become impossible." Keep innovating and let’s create a world of Abundance. 01/06/17, 17:44 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 01/06/17, 18:59 - customerelakshya: *HARISH - U MAY FIND THIS SITE ON GST VERY USEFUL FOR YOU* GSTTHREAD GST Software, Knowledge-base, Forums, Blogs & many more... https://www.gstthread.com Dear Sir / Madam, Sensys Technologies is pleased to announce Launch of its new, fully-featured GST website https://www.gstthread.com GSTTHREAD.com offers, a complete Software on GST – GSTTHREAD, with more flexibility, stability & reliability, with dynamic enhancement capability of future GST development. We wanted to share important information with you on the latest Cyber Attack “WannaCrypt Ransomware “and how it works and How Check Point can prevent the same. What is WannaCrypt Ransomware WannaCrypt Ransomware: also known by the names WannaCry, WanaCrypt0r or Wcrypt is a ransomware which targets Windows operating systems. Discovered on 12th May 2017, WannaCrypt was used in a large Cyber-attack and has since infected more than 230,000 Windows PCs in 150 countries. now. WannaCrypt initial hits include UK’s National Health Service, the Spanish telecommunications firm Telefónica, and the logistics firm FedEx. Such was the scale of the ransomware campaign that it caused chaos across hospitals in the United Kingdom. Many of them had to be shut down triggering operations closure on short notice, while the staff were forced to use pen and paper for their work with systems being locked by Ransomware. How does WannaCrypt ransomware get into your computer WannaCrypt first gains access to the computer system via an email attachment and thereafter can spread rapidly through LAN. The ransomware can encrypt your systems hard disk and attempts to exploit the SMB vulnerability to spread to random computers on the Internet via TCP port and between computers on the same network. Who created WannaCrypt There are no confirmed reports on who has created WannaCrypt although WanaCrypt0r 2.0 looks to be the 2nd attempt made by its authors. Currently, the attackers are reportedly using Microsoft Windows exploit Eternal Blue which was allegedly created by the NSA. These tools have been reportedly stolen and leaked by a group called Shadow Brokers. How does WannaCrypt spread The infection vector can present itself in multiple ways: 1. WannaCryptor – Direct infection utilizing SMB as delivery method – Multiple samples have been identified including copy cats and variants. 2. Hostile links within an email 3. Hostile attachments that contain a hostile link within a PDF 4. Hostile attachments that are password encrypted ZIP file which contains a PDF which starts the infection chain. 5. Brute force login attacks against RDP servers which then plant ransomware The worm functionality in WannaCrypt allows it to infect unpatched Windows machines in the local network. At the same time, it also executes massive scanning on Internet IP addresses to find and infect other vulnerable PCs. This activity results in large SMB traffic data coming from the infected host. Once WannaCrypt successfully infects a vulnerable machine, it uses it to hop to infect other PCs. The cycle further continues, as the scanning routing discovers unpatched computers. How Check Point Can Help Check Point offers the following protections for WannaCrypt: • Network Protections (SandBlast) o Threat Extraction and Threat Emulation o Anti-Bot/Anti-Virus • Endpoint Protections (SandBlast Agent) o Anti-Ransomware o Threat Extraction and Threat Emulation o Anti-Bot/Anti-Virus o Anti-Malware Connect with us on +91 9654377609 or through this. Learn about it here. Recently, a ransomware attack emerged that is worthy of tears. WannaCry ransomware hit the scene, spreading like wildfire across 150 countries and infecting more than 250,000 machines, which includes a massive takedown of 16 UK NHS medical centers in just one day. Other major countries impacted include Spain, Russia, Ukraine, India, China, Italy, and Egypt. Now, how is this massive attack possible? Our experts say the ransomware attack exploits the Server Message Block (SMB) critical vulnerability–also known as the Equation Group’s ETERNALBLUE exploit, part of the FuzzBunch toolkit released by Shadow Brokers a couple of weeks ago. Basically, the attacker can use just one exploit to gain remote access into a system. Once access is gained, the cybercriminal then encrypts data with a file extension “.WCRY.” Not to mention, the decypter tool used can hit users in multiple countries at once, and translate its ransom note to the appropriate language for that country. The ransom is said to demand $300 to decrypt the files. The good news is, consumers don’t have to worry about this attack affecting their personal data, as it leverages a flaw within the way organizations’ networks allow devices to talk to each other. Furthermore, by Friday afternoon, McAfee delivered detection updates to its products to ensure customers would be protected from all the known versions of the WannaCry ransomware. However, this attack does act as a reminder for consumers to prepare for personal ransomware attacks. In order to stay prepared and keep your personal data secure, follow these tips: -Be careful what you click on. This malware was distributed by phishing emails. You should only click on emails that you are sure came from a trusted source. Click here to learn more about phishing emails. -Back up your files. Always make sure your files are backed up. That way, if they become compromised in a ransomware attack, you can wipe your disk drive clean and restore the data from the backup. -Update your devices. There are a few lessons to take away from WannaCry, but making sure your operating system is up-to-date needs to be near the top of the list. The reason is simple: nearly every software update contains security improvements that help secure your computer and removes the means for ransomware variants to infect a device. –Schedule automatic updates. It’s always a good practice to set your home systems to apply critical Windows Security Updates automatically. That way, whenever there is a vulnerability, you receive the patch immediately. –Apply any Windows security patches that Microsoft has sent you. If you are using an older version of Microsoft’s operating systems, such as Windows XP or Windows 8, click here to download emergency security patches from Microsoft. –Keep security solutions up-to-date. Many security products are automatically updated. Take McAfee for example– our customers will be protected from this ransomware as soon they connect to the Internet and update their security software. Plus, as new variants of this ransomware arise, we will continuously update our software to keep them protected. 01/06/17, 22:19 - customerelakshya: *raman - for ur startup, i strongly urge u to go for AWS. i have both AWS and a google app engine account, but i find AWS better* Thank you for using AWS. Note: I'm assuming you have Android. This won't work for other operating systems. Also, your smartphone must be rooted. FolderMount FolderMount is an app which moves files from one location to another, and then creates a link between the old and the new location. In this case, to WhatsApp it will seem like it's saving everything to /storage/emulated/0/WhatsApp, while everything is actually being redirected to /storage/sdcard1/WhatsApp. To set FolderMount up, follow the following steps: Download FolderMount [ROOT] from the Google Play Store. Start FolderMount. Approve FolderMount's superuser request. Click on the "+" icon at the top-right of the "List of pairs" screen (the homescreen). Give it a name ("WhatsApp", for example). Tap on the textbox underneath "Source", navigage to the source folder (/storage/emulated/0/WhatsApp, for example) and tap the tick icon at the top-right to confirm your selection. Choose whether to automatically create the destination folder. If you choose "Yes", FolderMount will create a folder with the same name in your external SD-card (/storage/sdcard1/WhatsApp, for example). If you choose "No", you'll have to select the destination folder yourself. This works the same way as selecting the source folder. Choose whether to exclude destination files from Android media scan results or not. If the source folder contains media files, it's recommended that you turn this feature on, as otherwise those media files will show up twice in apps like the built-in Gallery. Choose whether to move everything from the source folder to the destination folder, or not. If the destination folder is empty (which will be the case if it was automatically created by FolderMount), you can safely choose "Yes". If it isn't empty, it's best to choose "No" and copy everything yourself with a file explorer app. You should be back in the "List of pairs" screen. The last step is to flick the switch next to WhatsApp to the on position. This ensures that the source and destination folders are linked together, and that the destination folder appears as the source folder. If you chose to move all files from the source folder to the destination folder in the last step, wait until that's finished (you can track the progress with the notification that appears) before doing this. Et voilà! 01/06/17, 22:46 - customerelakshya: sundy - gud nite ! am doing a nite-out here - so it shall be a great morning for u, with all the messages/images on ur phone !!! 01/06/17, 22:47 - mohan-pichuraman-friend-usa: Good Night 01/06/17, 22:57 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 01/06/17, 23:33 - customerelakshya: Why Engagement levels aren't increasing? With so many organizations focusing on engaging their employees, the question that frequently troubles our minds is: "Why aren't engagement levels across the world increasing?" Gallup sees a clear divide emerging within the engagement industry. On one end there are scientifically and experientially validated approaches that lead to changes in individual and business performance, supported by strategic and tactical development and performance solutions that transform organizational cultures. And on the other, unfocused annual surveys and a multitude of workplace dimensions that often have limited alignment with other business objectives and can be difficult to take action upon after receiving results. In reality, when companies focus exclusively on measuring engagement rather than on improving engagement, they often fail to make necessary changes that will engage employees or meet employees' workplace needs. These shortcomings include: •viewing engagement as a survey/program instead of as an ongoing, disciplined method to achieve higher performance •focusing more heavily on survey data or reports than on developing managers and employees •defining engagement as a percentage of employees who are not dissatisfied or are merely content with their employer instead of a state of strong employee involvement, commitment and enthusiasm •relying on measures that tell leaders and managers what they want to hear •Not treating employees as stakeholders of their future and their company's future These flawed approaches pose significant barriers to improving engagement, increasing performance, promoting manager development and achieving lasting change. Then where does the solution lie? By studying and working with highly engaging and high-performing organizations, Gallup has identified five best practices that improve engagement and performance: 1.Integrating engagement into the company's human capital strategy. 2.Using a scientifically validated instrument to measure engagement. 3.Understanding where the company is today, and where it wants to be in the future. 4. Looking beyond engagement as a single construct. Engagement isn't determined by an abstract feeling; it's the result of concrete performance management activities, such as clarifying work expectations, getting peoplewhat they need to do their work, providing development or promoting positive co-worker relationships. 5.Aligning engagement with other workplace priorities. Creating a culture of engagement requires more than completing an annual employee survey and it requires a company to take a close look at the critical engagement elements that align with performance and with the organization's human capital strategy. Managers and leaders should keep employee engagement top of mind -- because every interaction with employees can have an impact on engagement and organizational performance. 01/06/17, 23:35 - customerelakshya: <Media omitted> 01/06/17, 23:36 - customerelakshya: *anecdote* Last spring I was walking in a park. A short distance ahead of me was a mom and her three-year-old daughter. The little girl was holding on to a string that was attached to a helium balloon. All of a sudden, a sharp gust of wind took the balloon from the little girl. I braced myself for some screaming and crying. But, no! As the little girl turned to watch her balloon go skyward, she gleefully shouted out, "Wow!" I didn't realize it at that moment, but that little girl taught me something. Later that day, I received a phone call from a person with news of an unexpected
