The Qlik Course Marks and Credits Application displays aggregate information related to on-track rates and grades. The information updates at the end of each term. Only information for completed terms is displayed (in-progress grades are not available). Through this application you can look at year-to-year and quarterly trends in:
On-track rates across the District, by Learning Network, and school building
On-track rates filtered for specific student groups -- e.g., grade-level, gender, race, SPED, ELL, etc.
Reasons students are off-track (due to enrollment, failed courses, or both)
Distribution of grades by subject and by student groups
Relationships between on-track rates, grades, and attendance
This chart shows the percent of first-time ninth-graders who were firmly on track (properly enrolled and earning all A’s and B’s), on track but at risk (properly enrolled with at least some C’s or D’s), and off track (either not properly enrolled or failing a necessary course).

The Sayre Assistant Principal reviews specific subgroups On-Track Qlik graphs (e.g. On-Track for students with IEPs and those without) quarterly with the ninth grade team and plans interventions for the upcoming quarter. In addition to the subgroup Qlik graphs, the team also does a quarterly review of off-track reasons to ensure that every student is rostered appropriately and to assess the outcomes of their on-track interventions.
Each Quarter, many school leaders review their official On-Track and Firmly On-Track rates and compare them to the previous Quarter and to their goal. School leaders will often screenshare images of these graphs to their team so that everyone is aware of the progress or lack thereof. Leaders also dig into these rates further using the Off-Track Reasons page that allows leaders to pinpoint any subjects that have particularly high failure rates and have follow-up conversations with those teachers. They can also view how many core course failures students have (how close or far they are from being On-Track). Often through inspecting this chart, school leaders find that if they successfully supported students with only 1 or 2 core course failures to pass those courses, they could meet or surpass their On-Track goal. This analysis provides an impetus for more focused outreach and intervention.

Emerging is good for staff that are new to the 9th Grade On-Track work, and/or schools that are just starting to implement the 9th Grade On-Track tools and initiatives. Progressing is good for staff/schools who have basic knowledge of the materials and have implemented core components of the model but want to further the implementation. Accelerating is for schools that have successfully implemented many of the 9th Grade On-Track tools and initiatives and are looking for ways to advance the work even further.
