1995 The Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, in partnership with Duke University, begins
1995 Kansai Gadai exchange in Japan partnership begins
1998 Faculty-led program to Greece begins
1998 Spanish Studies Abroad (SSA) partnership begins. It was initially called the Center for Cross-Cultural Study
(CCCS)
2003 J-Term program at the Institut de Touraine in Tours, France begins
2003 University of Ghana (through SUNY Brockport) partnership begins (Inactive program as of 2019)
2006 Faculty-led program for MFA Dance summer program – to various countries (additional information below)
2007 Arcadia University Partnership began with programs in Italy, Greece, and South Africa.
This expands to Arcadia Abroad. Currently programs only in Spain and Italy (Greece and South Africa
discontinued)
2007 University of Limerick, Ireland partnership begins
2008 Ludwigsburg University of Education Exchange in Germany partnership begins
2010 Staff-led cultural immersion program to Jamaica begins; program ends in 2019
2010 Staff-led Choir trip abroad to various countries begins (happens every 4 years); discontinued due to COVID-19
2011 Faculty-led program to St. John’s, Virgin Islands begins; last trip in 2019, and discontinued due to a hurricane
destroying the site.
