Almost every American knows about the founding fathers. Washington, Hamilton, Franklin all helped to write the Declaration of Independence. But there was one missing from the list that you never heard about. John Jay was most famous during and after the revolutionary war. He had a significant role after the war helping to build the country and government. Most people do not know the full story. all his accomplishments with few obstacles in his way. He was famous then, But not that famous today. He did a lot of things he did back then which still impact us today.

His family was wealthy, and he had a good childhood. John Jay was born on December 12, 1745, in New York. He had 10 siblings, three died young, His father being Peter Jay, and his mother was Mary Van Cortlandt, they were also wealthy merchants. he went to board school Rochelle, New York, at 8 years old. he moved to King's College. New York; at 14 years old. Then he graduated in 1764. His family was basic, but he plays better cards when we move on into the revolutionary war.

He was all right, but people loved him and wanted him to do more. He was also a revolutionary sympathizer. A person who agrees with an opinion. helped write the Declaration of Independence, and after that people wanted him to do more. He also had a wife named Sarah Livingston, and he had six children after that he had a lot of accomplishments to sweep through.

He was very popular at the time and there were few obstacles in his way. But people thought he was terrible at writing books. One of the few obstacles in his way was that a lot of publishers would not publish his books. However, he did find someone and his books got published. There's not much to say here. but with the accomplishments there is

He had a breath-taking number of accomplishments with very few obstacles in his way. He was elected many times to be in the continental congress and he was even elected president on arrival. He was one of the main writers of the treaty of Paris 1783. Which means he played a vital role at that time. Since of the booming popularity he was chosen to draft the constitution. he was also the second youngest member of the continental congress. Also, he was not a founding father for sighing the declaration of independence. It was for drafting the constitution. he was bursting with popularity and important roles, so all accomplishments were easy to complete.

John Jay’s death was sad to hear because people loved him a lot. John Jay died on May 17, 1829, in Bedford, New York. He died from palsy caused by a stroke. John Jay is buried in Boston New York while it is not that interesting, it sure was heart breaking to everyone that loved him.

John Jay was important in the history of America and its making. He had lots of important accomplishments quite easy to do, but most people do not remember it. In the past he was one of the most well-known, but now people think he was an outcast to the founding fathers. He helped with the declaration of independence and the constitution. Other founding fathers wanted his help and became president of governor and the continental congress several times. People should spread the word of this person to people who have not even heard of him or his great deeds.
