WEEK 11

This week, our group conducted the final presentation showcasing our designed Google website and the application of Shiny App for teaching hypothesis testing. Additionally, we also attended presentations from the other four groups.

During our presentation, we focused on explaining the fundamental concepts of hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing is a crucial concept in statistics that enables researchers to make informed decisions about unknown population parameters based on sample data. It involves formulating a null hypothesis (H0) and an alternative hypothesis (H1 or Ha), and then using statistical analysis to test the validity of these hypotheses. The significance level is determined to assess the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis when it is true.

Through our presentation, we introduced the basic principles of hypothesis testing and different types of tests to the audience. We demonstrated the application of Shiny App for conducting hypothesis tests and provided educational resources on the Google website. The feedback we received for our presentation was positive, and it provided an opportunity for other group members to gain an understanding of hypothesis testing.

While attending the presentations of other groups, we gained insights into the application of different themes and methods. This expanded our perspectives and helped us better apply the knowledge of statistics and hypothesis testing in future teaching practices.

Overall, it has been a productive and meaningful week. Through our presentation and attending other group presentations, we solidified our understanding of hypothesis testing and shared our learning outcomes with peers. We appreciate the cooperation and efforts of our team members in the design and implementation of the Google website and Shiny App. The final presentation provided us with a deeper understanding of the concepts and applications of hypothesis testing and accumulated valuable experience for future teaching practices.

We plan to further refine and optimize the Google website and Shiny App we designed to provide an enhanced teaching experience and resources. We will also continue exploring alternative teaching methods for other concepts and methods to enrich students' knowledge and skills. We believe that through such efforts and continuous learning, we will be able to enhance students' learning outcomes and interest while equipping them with practical abilities.

In conclusion, the presentation and learning experience of this week have been highly meaningful for our group. By utilizing the Google website and Shiny App to teach hypothesis testing, we deepened our understanding of statistical concepts and shared our learning outcomes with other group members. We look forward to applying the knowledge and experience gained to future teaching practices and continuously improving our teaching capabilities and effectiveness.
