O God, Maker of history, we gather in celebration of the centennial of the March 1st movement and praise you for leading our nation to independence. Guide us to learn from our faith ancestors who loved the nation despite many challenges and sufferings. Unify our nation with your vision. Lead us to justice and safety. May respect be given to those who are diligent and hard-working. May a peaceful life be granted to foreign sojourners and poor neighbors. May the path for peace be open for North and South. We pray for the day when the Korean people are healed and reconciled in Christ, East Asian countries live in peace and harmony with one another, and Korean churches fulfill the call to be partners in national transformation. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
