White Balance

What is white balance?

White balance is the temperature of a white object changes colour. The colours can be warm ( looks orange ) and cold ( looks blue.) It is not just white that changes colour, it also is all the colours that are around a subject. White balance it the adjustment of the intensity of the colours in an image. It can also establish the true colour of white at different temperatures. You measure the temperature in K which is Kalvin - the scientific way of measuring temperature. The kalvin for daylight is 5600k.
