If given a chance, where do you want to go on a mission with your spouse?
Grace
Read: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
Evangelization is God's call to every Christian. Sharing the good news is also a task of couples united by God through the Sacrament of Matrimony. Evangelization is the bringing of the good news of Jesus Christ to every people. It is bringing people into a deeper relationship with God and making them disciples of Jesus.
Evangelization is our call, our duty and our privilege. - Bro. Frank Padilla
Let us understand this divine work:
1. Evangelization is our Call
In the Gospels Jesus gave final instructions to His disciples on how to continue what He started. Matthew 28:19-20 was His marching orders. This command is not just for His disciples that time but also for those who committed to follow Christ. The Church exists to do the mission of evangelization.
2. Evangelization is our Duty
As Christians it is our duty to evangelize. But today many neglect this important call. It is not an option for Christians but it is a sacred duty. When He asks us to do something He will never abandon us but He will equip us to respond to this divine duty of sharing His love to everyone.
3. Evangelization is a Privilege
God is giving us the privilege to be His co-workers. He chose us to partake in this great story of salvation. We are not worthy as sinners but He intentionally called us to be instruments of His light and love to the world.
As couples let us respond to this invitation wholeheartedly. Let us ask God for the grace to be sent out to do a mission for Him. We are to speak the Good News and share to others how Jesus changed our lives for the best.

What hinders us in fully responding to God’s call to do missions as couples?
What steps will we do to make sure that this year we will respond to being a missionary couple?
Go Forth

Go on Mission
Seek for opportunities to service in MFC and/ or LCSC. MFC members 3 years and up are encouraged to go on mission in your own area or province. This can be done as a couple, with your household, or with your family. #FamiliesOnMission
