Grace
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Rom 15:13)
St Paul, in his letter to the Romans, emphasizes the intimate and deep bond between the gift of the Holy Spirit and the virtue of hope. “Hope”, he says, “does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us” (Rom 5:5).
Our MFC community helps us to recognize that the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives. It started in the Life in Christ Seminar and was followed up with households, assemblies and teachings. Through the stories shared and heard, we recognized that Jesus is ever present in our lives, and our hope dwells and deepens in our hearts.
We are filled with all joy and peace because Jesus is true to His promise for our marriage and family. MFC serves as a means for God to revitalize our faith, deepen our commitment to establish families in Christ, and further the mission to proclaim the Gospel. It encourages a life of prayer and participation in the mission of evangelization. It ultimately led us to a more profound and renewed hope in Christ. Part of our MFC Covenant - I shall be a committed and active member of MFC. This is pointed towards renewal in Christ who is our Hope.
Gather
How can I recognize the Holy Spirit present in our community, so my hope in Christ will be renewed daily?
.
Go Forth
This week, reach out to an MFC member who is inactive and invite them once again to a life in Christ through the community. Offer a prayer for them.
Give
God is Generous, and in response, let us be good stewards by consistent Spiritual Giving, our tithing.
