People today are searching for answers and solutions, even within our own families. People need to know that hope has a name, and that name is Christ.

As Missionary Families of Christ, we are called to witness and share Christ to others. It is part of our MFC Covenant that we have to live out. “I shall be a witness to the world of God’s love.” We are not just recruiters, we are evangelizers. We are in a pilgrims of Hope and we seek to walk alongside others, not simply to add them to our community, but to bring them closer to Christ, just as someone once walked with us and evangelized us. 

A pilgrim walks with others in love, inviting, journeying, and joyfully sharing the Gospel. In MFC, we seek to share Christ through Evangelization:

1.     M - Manifest Christ in our lives

We carry Christ in our hearts and actions, bringing light to those in darkness. Our witness speaks louder than words, we live what we proclaim.

2.     F - Facilitate the journey of others

We walk with others, not only to accompany but to lead and guide them towards conversion in Christ. Evangelization is not passive, it's a loving, intentional mission.

3.     C - Communicate the hope who is Christ

We offer Jesus, not ourselves. We are mere signs pointing toward Christ, the true source of hope for the world.

"Lay people also fulfill their prophetic mission by evangelization, that is, the proclamation of Christ by word and the testimony of life.” CCC 905

In evangelization we are offering them a spiritual home, a place of hope, healing, and holiness. We have a Hope to share, He is Christ. To share Christ means to live as a witness, speak the Gospel, and walk with others toward a deeper relationship with Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit and rooted in the Church.

We are not just promoting a message, we are introducing Jesus Christ, the source of hope and salvation.

2. What are the challenges you face in evangelizing others?

3. Who might God be calling you to walk with today?

Go Forth

Make a list of people you will invite to a CLS or LCSC before the year ends.
Pray for them and create opportunities to evangelize them. 

Give

Go On Mission

Seek for opportunities to service in MFC and/ or LCSC. MFC members 3 years and up are encouraged to go on mission in your own area or province. This can be done as a couple, with your household, or with your family. #FamiliesOnMission
