Over the past 20 years Hillary Wolfe has served as a district Director of Curriculum and Instruction and CTE, Coordinator of Academic Interventions for a county office of education, a K-12 instructional coach, and an elementary literacy specialist. She taught literacy in high school for four years. Ms. Wolfe began her career as a journalist and education columnist. She has written books on writing strategies, literacy, and phonics instruction. She has made presentations on CTE, MTSS, dual enrollment programs, and literacy for national and regional organizations, including California Coalition of Early and Middle Colleges (CCEMC), California Association of Bilingual Educators (CABE), California Association of Supervisors of Child Welfare & Attendance (CASCWA), National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and International Literacy Association (ILA). Ms. Wolfe has her Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is currently Executive Director of College, Career, and Economic Development for a K-12 school district.
