This presentation will provide an overview of apprenticeship programs available to residents of the Inland Empire and will take a focused look at how high school students can connect to apprenticeship pathways before and after graduation. Attendees will learn what apprenticeship means for students and how it is unique from other educational options.

Charles is the Executive Director the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network. LAUNCH initially started as a project for the IEDRC in 2018 and serves as an apprenticeship intermediary for businesses and educational institutions. He has worked in the apprenticeship system for 15 years and is passionate about connecting students with work-based learning opportunities.
Marisa is an Apprenticeship System Navigator working to increase access to apprenticeship and accelerate economic mobility for Inland Empire youth ages 16-24. She has 10 years of experience running economic youth development programming.
