AWARDS & BADGES

Beaver Scouts enjoy trying new activities and are recognized for their achievements. There are a variety of badges and awards that they can earn and wear.

• Joining in Awards:- there are 2 awards, which recognise a commitment to scouting. They celebrate Beaver Scouts participating in a Balanced Programme

• The Challenge Badges:- these are gained as a Beaver Scout extend their skills and experience, there are 6 in which to earn.

  • Adventure Challenge

  • Outdoors Challenge

  • Skills Challenge

  • World Challenge

  • Personal Challenge

  • Teamwork Challenge

• The Chief Scout's Bronze Award:- this is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout Section.

• The Activity Badges:- there are 20 badges to earn. Beaver's will have the opportunity to gain all of them over a two year period. These are :

• Animal Friend, Book Reader, Builder, Camp Craft, Collector, Communicator, Cook, Creative, Cyclist, Disability Awareness, Experiment, Faith, Gardener , Global Issues, Hobbies, International, Photographer, Safety, Space & Sports.

• Staged Activity Badges:- there are 14 in total, with 5 levels available in each stage.

• These can be earned throughout the Sections.

• Air Activities, Community Impact, Digital Citizen, Digital Maker, Emergency Aid, Hikes Away, Musician, Nautical Skills, Navigator, Nights Away, Paddle Sports, Sailing, Swimmer & Time on the Water

• The Moving-On Award:- this award is presented to a Beaver Scout when they are invested into the Cub Scout Pack.

• It recognizes that they are already Members of the Scout Movement.
