I was trained by a gentleman by the name of Kain Louis today. Very nice lad. He showed me the ropes, gave me a very thorough dive into how things at this Site operate. This is leagues different from [REDACTED]. Things seem… more thought out. HCZ isn’t right by the entrance. There are many, many floors to this Site. D-Block isn’t an absolute hellhole. All things considered, it was very nice. A change of pace, that’s for sure. Though one part of the tour had me very, VERY concerned. During our tour, Kain showed me around the sewers of D-Block. Down a ways was one of the most horrifying sights I’ve ever laid eyes upon. A cave, with an entire wall covered by Sarkic runes and architecture. Seeing the demonic sigils made my skin crawl and my spine nearly shoot from my very body, but he told me not to worry. It’s rare that anything ever happens down there. It makes me very uneasy knowing that we have an enormous entrance for the Sarkics to infiltrate from, but if he says not to worry, then I shall not. Besides, there’s other stuff I want to touch on.
This site has something called “C-Class”. They’re like D-Class, but they’re entrusted with keycards and some other stuff. They’re supposed to be pacifists who help the Foundation out. I was blown away by this sort of situation. I even met one today by the name of P.W.. He’s very nice and got me medical help when the D-Class inevitably rioted later in the day. He’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. How he managed to wind up as a D-Class in the first place is beyond me. Oh, the riot. I should talk about that.
The D-Class somehow seem even more aggressive here, and I honestly thought that was impossible. One tried to shoot me in the head because I was “fresh meat”. It was utter chaos. Luckily, P.W. was there to help me out. There’s also this lovely medical woman by the name of Abigail Bathory. She seemed a little stiff at first, but she wasn’t that bad once I got to know her a little. She was amazing on the scene, dragging people out of the block to get them back up on their feet again. She ran the triage scene like a champion. Fuck, I’m getting off topic. I got to experience a Shakedown during the riot. We made all the D-Class line up on the wall and searched them all. I was in charge of helping ‘Forest’ clear out the sewers. We were nearly ambushed by a gaggle of D-Class, but ‘Forest’ just racked his shotgun and turned them both into a fine red mist. Apparently, he’s a Warden. At least, this Site’s equivalent of them. This Site does it so much differently than [REDACTED]. What I know as Riot Response are called Wardens. What I call Juggernauts are just called Heavies here. What I know to be Wardens are actually called Vanguards here. Forest is a Vanguard. I was my equivalent of Vanguard Command back at [REDACTED], so I’m definitely going to work my way up to it. It’ll be nice to be in familiar territory once again.
Oh! I got to meet ‘V’ today, as well as the Assistant Site Director Druid. ‘V’ is incredibly intimidating. Druid seems a lot more down to earth, though. Regardless, neither seem like they’ll get shoved around. This was especially clear when I had my first encounter with a Chaos Scout. The dumb bastard tried to steal MY identity. What a moron. The directors wasted no time once the Scout was in cuffs, getting information that honestly went over my head before making the Chaos Insurgency buy their own guy back. It was quite satisfying to watch the Chaos Insurgency squirm and panic. They were annoying before, and they’re still annoying now.
I’ll catch up when I have more news to share. Ciao!
