Wednesday, 2nd period

Wednesday, 6th period

--You’ll have a sub and will do some fitness/exercise and then something fun. Remote and Hybrid B do not need to report to the meet, but need to do 30 minutes of activity and finish your Well-Being plan.

Thursday, the last day of school!

Then start planning your Well-Being for the Spring and Summer. We've talked some about Stress Management, Emotional Super Powers, and Instant Vacations (much more will be taught in 8th grade). It's important for you to have your plan. You can adjust over time, but it's a great practice to have a plan, try it, stick to it, and change it up as needed.

It’s kind of like a New Year’s Resolution, but more practical and connected to Healthy Living. ALSO, we will talk about the Challenge Portion more tomorrow.

*6th period: Hybrid B and Remote DO NOT need to join the Meet. I have a sub as I’ll be driving and coaching our high school wrestling team at South Whidbey. My sub will be the Legend, Cornelius Lopez, and it was more pragmatic for me to have him just in charge of the in-person students.

THURSDAY:

-WEDNESDAY: We meet in the gym for checkin and attendance.

Next, Remote students continue their fitness on their own, and we, in person, do ours outside or in the gym.

We finish class in the classroom by filling out our Activity Log, completing the Peggy Exit Ticket Part I (attached), silent read, then finish with something fun. (Note: for some reason I can't make a Copy of Exit Ticket for each student. So, just create your own document and answer the questions and submit that one. Thanks.)

-THURSDAY: We meet in South Hall (the classroom portion) and Peggy will give her lesson to ALL OF US. I will do my best with video and be available for the chat. And remember, you can always email Peggy with any questions and concerns: prubens-ellis-c@vashonsd.org

Then, we will finish with activity in the gym and the outdoors and remote students will do their activity on their own and include that in their activity log.
