Introduction

After a very hectic day, the Cuspidor editors lost track of time and before they knew it, were faced with a setting sun and a closing route home. Rushing to catch the 63 bus, they all clutched their latest editorials and edited papers in the biting cold wind.

“Don’t forget that one!” Madi called out to Sumin, as she swooped to grab a page that flew by.

“We can’t have any litter left behind...environmental interests first,” Sonia said.

“Exactly - why we’re reducing our paper count this issue too!” Angela chimed in.

They caught the bus just as it was swerving around the corner. Relieved, they all sat at the back and continued on working to the sound of their typing.

“Guys...4 people still haven’t been using their semicolons right,” Madi said.

“And this art piece doesn’t have a title,” Sumin added.

“Neither does this essay...” Sonia said.

“It would be a lot easier if only we had a bit more help…” Madi wistfully said.

Angela glanced over at her computer screen.

“Luckily, we have Junior Editor applications!”
