The Divisions

THE EXECUTIVE DIVISION

The Commission's goals and initiatives are under the administration of the Executive Division. Its job is to make sure that the decisions the Commission makes are in line with its motto, and advantageous to both the Commission and the student body. The said division also supports COMELEC's rulings, organize and assign responsibilities for internal activities, and guarantees that external relationships are appropriately reported and utilized.

THE SECRETARIAT DIVISION

Is in charge of writing the relevant letters, emails, and making of templates for all events and activities that take place in the UST Commerce COMELEC in addition to executing the tasks given to and directed by any members of the Executive Board. Who is also in charge of keeping track of and organizing papers such as executive orders, notice of hearing, memorandum, request letters, and other documents as well as completing the minutes of meetings to make sure no one misses any crucial information from any discussions.

THE LEGAL DIVISION

Ensuring free, fair, and honest elections and safeguarding democracy in accordance with the University Students Election Code of 2011(USEC 2011) and 2020 UST CBASC Constitution, the legal division is in charge of the enforcement of all rules and regulations of the electoral activities of the Student Council and Block Sections of the College of Commerce and Business Administration. Moreover, this division provides legal electoral advices in both internal and external affairs of the Commission.

THE PROCUREMENT DIVISION

Also known as the Events Division, the Procurement division comprises the Operations, Finance and Logistics teams. This division oversees the Commission’s various projects from its early stages to its execution. As part of its core essence, this division is primarily incharge with the acquisition and management of resources while ensuring careful coordination across its different teams for the effective implementation of projects that strive to uplift and protect democracy.

THE PUBLIC INFORMATION DIVISION

The Public Information Division is in charge of handling matters relating to the Commission's public matters and the designing of published materials. It provides information to the student body about the Commission’s specifics through the use of publication materials. The division of Public Information is accountable for the public image as they uphold the mission, vision and values of the Commission.
