Hello and Welcome!

I am Joshua Mark A. Bautista, a student of Universidad de Sta. Isabel under the Teacher Education Program- Fourth Year of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Science.

Welcome to my practice teacher writing portfolio- a collection of my experiences as a teacher in training. But what do we really mean by a portfolio and what will you see hereafter? According to Butler (2016) "a portfolio is a collection of evidence that is gathered together to show a person's learning journey over time and to demonstrate their abilities." Similar to this definition, you will see the documentation of my development in the course of my teaching profession journey. This e-portfolio includes the collection of my work over time in the different subjects I attended as a teacher in training. There will be a series of observation records, analysis, and reflections. To top that, there will be learning experiences and reflections under subpages depending on their entry in the domains of the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST). This portfolio will also include outputs like lesson plans, video recordings, and letters used during the duration of my teaching internship journey. On the latter pages, an exhibit of certificates and other reflections will be found. This are my received proofs of engagements and participation in the different webinars and activities I participated in.
