Nebo: Outreach Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Nebo School District Rep
I grew up in Anaheim California and moved to Utah for college. After graduating from BYU, I started teaching Special Education (mild/moderate disabilities) at Spanish Fork Jr. High. I graduated from the University of Utah with my Master’s in Deaf Education. I never thought I would do much with the degree, other than work with the few students with hearing loss that came through my classroom. However, in 2011 I was asked by my district to take over as the itinerant teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing, which I have been doing ever since.
