Valynn works in Iron County with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families. She received her BA degree and then when their 4th child was born deaf and received Cochlear Implants a year later, she returned to school to receive her Teaching License in Special Ed with a Deaf Endorsement in 2008. She currently serves on the Multi-University Consortium Advisory Council, Leadership PLC group, and is striving continuously to improve her pedagogical knowledge.
